  1. I've played my part in tomorrow's announcement, but only in a supporting role. My next 'turns' will be eclectic, to say the least....
  2. I can categorically state that the Hornby 91 was not in response to Cavelex’s, but was part of a long term project, interrupted by the financial meltdown at Margate in 2016. But then again, it’s fashionable to create conflict where none existed….
  3. The Lighting PCBs are fitted with twin stay alives, the same as the Mk2 stock….
  4. The lighting isn’t DCC controlled @The Johnster so as a DC operator, you won’t lose out. Pick up from both bogies, and switchable on and off with a magnetic wand…
  5. That's the case Mark, I have indicated the same bracket here on W46139, preserved at the North Norfolk Railway and pictured during the first survey visit.
  6. Not the case Clive, you are looking at a completely different area. I am not referring to the holes on the buffer beam, but to the bracket dead centre on the coach ends. This is present on ex-WR coaches transferred to the Eastern Region. I have photos, which I’ll post up when I’m back at my desk.
  7. We'll be doing some sample formation guides in due course, but for now I've outlined some formations in the blog @Eddie the dog https://accurascale.co.uk/blogs/news/history-file-the-br-56ft-11-suburban-coaches
  8. Yes Clive, there's a full rake of Carmine Red 'Metrogauge' (even branded as such) on first release, a selection of the 24 BR Derby built ‘Metrogauge’ Brake Second, Second and Open Second vehicles for the BR(M) Region. Of course, in addition, Doncaster Works built all their non-gangway built vehicles with the wide roof ventilator spacing, so it's not just a BR(M) 'thing'. We've also accounted for the different heights in periscopes on the BTs, just to make sure.
  9. Again, as yet 😉 As was stated in the launch video, all combinations of region and livery will be done, in time.
  10. Not, there won’t be I’m afraid. With formations fluctuating, it’s not always the BT, or S, that could be at the rear of the train, so our choice was to fit tail lights to all, or none.
  11. The SR exclusively used the 64' type (in that it did not use the 57' type). BR(W) had 72 of the 57' stock in C, BT, T and TO...
  12. Depends on date and availability Roy, but here are some examples: 1960/64: BS-S-S-S-BS 1972/5: S-S-BS-S-S-S The Lavatory stock was pretty much used on the longer runs, out to Cambridge etc...
  13. The Scottish region got Composites, Seconds and a shed load of Brake Seconds @Legend, indeed one of my favourite photographs I sourced was a negative of a BS behind 80091 at Pollockshaws
  14. Sorry, did someone call me? 😆😉
  15. The Conflat A was chosen at H to partner the 48DS purely because it added very little to the price point, rather than actually being ‘correct’. Converted bogies were quite popular (the LU 0-6-0 Sentinels used such a conversion), so there’s plenty of options that could serve as a staring point.
  16. I dunno, there’s a partially restored Austerity sitting there currently…
