  1. The new Bachmann Pannier 94xx is using a core less motor as well. Wiggy.
  2. This is sorted now as it was to do with the momentum button on the Powercab causing the problem. Wiggy
  3. Depends on how good you are at configuring. Not sure what the MM one does only the WT one obversely. Wiggy.
  4. You'll need front and rear lights plus AUX1-4 Then you'll need to configure the outputs to work the lights. Here is an ESU lokpilot https://youtu.be/SLD8Th3CQ14 Wiggy
  5. OK, They should be able to sort you out no problem. If you need any further help just send me a PM. Wiggy.
  6. Yes, thats the one. If you are happy with the BPR and everything else then I should leave it as it is. Just as a matter of interest why did you do an autotune? Wiggy.
  7. Voltage. I'm assuming you have done an autotune otherwise I doubt that you would have changed that. Doing an autotune reduces that CV setting. Wiggy.
  8. OK, Where did you get the ESU v5 'L' decoder from is the first question? I'm assuming it came with the sound pre loaded? Have you contacted them to say you are having an issue? Lets take it from there and see where we go. Wiggy.
  9. Did you have to alter the chuff settings? With CV53 so low it should have an effect on the BPR and acceleration? Cv's 9, 56, 116-119 are motor default settings. Peter, Are you having problems with your O gauge 43xx? Wiggy.
  10. Further down the thread Paul posted there are likes on how to disable it but I think it is basically removing the back cover and taping over the button but you'll need to read more. Wiggy.
  11. I've just put the Acceleration function on the decoder and it acts just the way yours dose when I press that function button. So its looking like the momentum setting on your controller. Is there a way to turn it off or disable it as I think thats what causing the problem. Wiggy.
  12. Can you turn that momentum setting off? I've tried it this end and there is no way I can make it do what it does your end. What did you change between the first video that was working OK and the second video? Wiggy.
  13. Just seen this one. What function do you have on to make it accelerate and decelerate that quick? Looks like acceleration and deceleration has been disabled. Do you have anything on your controller that will do that to override the settings? I'll try it my end but I don't have your type of controller. Wiggy.
  14. OK, That seamed to be OK. I'm guessing you are using 128 speed steps? If so then you may have to drop by around 10 speed steps to get it to coast. I'll check the file with 128 SS and see what happens. Changing the address should not have any bearing on the speed steps or coasting. If you have any more issues or it does it again a video would help. Wiggy.
  15. Ok, So I guess you are saying that they do not go into coast/rod clank? Any chance of a video as a last resort because its looking likely that the decoder needs to come back so we can look at it to see what is going on? Wiggy.
  16. What happens when you turn off shunt mode? If the heavy mode is engaged it does not work or should not work in shunt mode. Shunt mode will reduce the top speed by about 50%. Also I did not get a reply from my last part of the message 'If you start from standstill straight up to 2/3 speed does the chuffs drop to normal running or stay heavy when you reach 2/3??' I'll have to think on this one but one thing to try is turn everything off and I mean unplug mains. Leave it 5 minutes and try again. Failing all that remove the decoder and send it to me so I can see what is going on. It could be that the file has got corrupt in some way but I need to look at it to see what has happened. You can keep trying over Christmas as the soonest you can send it back will be next week. Try another reset CV8=8 and recycle the power and make sure no other functions are on. Don't use shunt mode and just try it in normal running. Avoid changing any other CV's and lets see what happens. If you need to send it back PM me and I'll send you my address. Wiggy.
  17. The only way it will do that is if F16 is on. Are you sure you are not turning F16 on by mistake??? How do you know it does it in shunting mode?? What function are you using for shunt mode?? If you start from standstill straight up to 2/3 speed does the chuffs drop to normal running or stay heavy when you reach 2/3?? Wiggy.
  18. You should have a function list, if not ask for one. F16 is heavy load which gives you heaver chuffs when you are simulating a heavy load from start or simulating going up hill. It will keep on heavy chuffs right down to standstill when decelerating or using F5 and F6 braking. Wiggy.
  19. It won't corrupt the sound project but it will remove any changes you have made to the file. Check that you have not got F16 on first. Wiggy.

GWR 6106 is a static display. Yes one preserved but no sound from it unfortunately, Large Prairie sound used for it instead. Wiggy.
  21. Hi Nigel, Just found something in 'adjust loop span' that might be what you were talking about. Having a play with that to see how you adjust things so that might be what I'm looking for. Every day a school day. Just need to sort the waltz out and I think there is only one brake but we will see if anyone else comes up with anything later. Neil.
  22. Hi Nigel, I did not want to start swapping between heavy and light chuffs. I'll see if anyone else replies. I had another look at the looping but still can't find anything. I'll reread the info I have again but it sounds like you were using a different programmer software, maybe? It's not the loop point thats the issue its the start and finish sounds that I want to add before and end of the loop. I'll have another play but I've spent a couple of weeks trying to sort it so I'm going over what I've already done but may have missed something. Neil.
