Rails are showing some - but not all - 33/2s as being "Sound ready".
I know about the LED and 21 pin upgrades, but did the most recent batch also include a pre-fitted speaker?
I got the green full yellow end one last week from rails. Its 21 pin but no speaker fitted.

You need an email address to send paypal payments

Nice to know that they have such confidence in their products!
CJI.
That was my first thoughts tbh. Imagine paying £600+ for an O scale 73 only for it to die 7 months later

Well my plain green loco has arrived and runs well on an imperium decoder. Slightly stutters over a couple of my less than perfectly laid points but its still running in so could well improve.
However, one area of concern is according to the manual there is only 6 months warranty. Upon checking the manual for my recently purcahsed Class 33 that too only has 6 months warranty.
So are Heljan now only offering 6 months warranty?
EDIT :
It seems 6 months is correct. From the Heljan website :
Q: What is the warranty period on Heljan models?
A: All Heljan models have a standard warranty period of six months from the date of purchase. Should you experience any problems with your model, please return it to the retailer from which it was purchased for exchange or a refund.

The four newest profiles and what they sound like. Just gone live:
class 20, W1 rebuilt and unrebuilt, and King.
The class 20 sounded a bit distorted on the video but its probably fine in person.
Did you get chance to see what speakers would fit in the class 20? the 21 pin version should take the smallest at least, but is there space for a speaker in the 8 pin version.

Couldnt resist a D6704 :)

Can anyone point me to the Plux22 to next 18 adaptors so i can fit both a class 20 and a 37?

There will be an update shortly to both iPad and Android apps which incorporate latest fettles, as well as release of more sound profiles including the much requested Class 20.
Also the dongles are in country, awaiting final release checks by the test team.
Class 20 music to my ears :)

The WR Green British Railways ones, ones listed as exterior lights on the weathered version, but the unweathered one says internal only.

The class 30/31 launch video shows that the auto uncoupler also lifts the hook of the coupling of the adjacent vehicle. How effective this will be across the various different styles of tension lock coupling remains to be seen.
Auto uncouplers have also been announced as a feature on the forthcoming class 69 locos, so it does seem to be a feature that's going to be more widely applied in the future.
I cant see it being very effective on droopy Dapol couplings

With this shop shutting where are the nearest alternatives?
TTC diecast (Derby)
topps trains (Stafford)
A to B models (Matlock)
Hobby goblin (Stoke)
Those are all I could think of off the top of my head, none of those are particularly close thoughI live in stoke and use Topps Trains, Hobby Goblin and Trident Trains pretty regularly. All have there advantages. Havent been to TTC yet

Talking of decoders, no mention of a lift off roof panel for easy access to the decoder socket

Im not suprised really to see a 31. Especially as the N Scale one is a really great model with a decent soundfile.
Id like one - but im expecting the SFX version to be a good £350 at retaillers.

Ive preordered a P Class and a Barclay. For £99 each it was hard not to!
Will they be exactly as the previous releases or will they be reworked to include a stay alive?

They did a video like this for the 37/47 with footage at the GC. So I'm thinking a major new tooling with lots of variations. I'm going to go steam and 8f.
Think they did for the 47 as well.
Could it be the 25 at last?

Great video, ill be getting the green British Railways version.
Looks like a nice space for the decoder so im pretty confident the HM7000 will fit, with maybe the power bank in the cab. Although it will have to have a Dapol imperium to begin with.
Only thing i didnt see was much in the way of lighting.

Now that you guys have the Andrew Barclay locos how about a train set / pack with a limited edition NCB liveried loco and maybe a couple of the NCB liveried wagons youve got coming?
