    On a happier note, here's one which made it into preservation; 46045 leaving York, September 1984.

    Not much left to scrap of 46026 at Doncaster Works, March 1985. Hard to think I was sat in the cab of this one stabled at York six months earlier talking to the driver and flicking through the repair book.
