  1. Top one looks like 90057 which ended it's days at Drapers, the bottom one I can't ID. Cheers guys.

  3. Excellent shots of the 110, always had a soft spot for these. I find looking at the cars really dates the pictures as well as the rolling stock. Superb thread keep it up guys.
  4. I spent lots of time spotting at Oxmardyke as a youngster. In inclement weather my mates and I would shelter in the small coal\wood shed situated on the boxes eastern side. Looks like the shed has gone in those pics.
  5. Nunburnholme...will have to have a look for the old station the next time I cycle the big hill there. What a superb thread this is, a heartfelt thanks to all who have and continue to contribute both photos and information.
  6. These pictures are priceless and certainly evoke what I now think was one of the golden ages of rail in our country. Thanks for the memories Dave.

  10. 45113 with a replacement centre window waits for departure from York, September 1984. In the background is the Ultrasonic Test Train which was up and down all that day.
  11. Missing a nameplate is 45049 leaving York, October 1984.
  12. York again, July 1984. 45150 leaves for the depot and 45105 waits on the Scarborough line.
  13. 45118 at York. No date but it was around the time they started to add headlights and that god-awful (IMHO) orange cantrail stripe.

  15. 37067 ticking over in the freight yard at Goole, October 1984.
  16. 37245 at Oxmardyke with acetic acid tanks from B.P.Saltend to Mostyn. October 1984.
  17. 47143 with a southbound speedlink at York, July 1984.
  18. 47444 at Gilberdyke taking acetic acid tanks from BP Saltend, September 1984. This was diagrammed for a Class 37 at the time.
