  1. He stopped right outside what looks like a model shop. Tiny Tims Trains & Toys.
  2. I love how you've modified the points Andy, it makes those curves flow beautifully. Keith.
  3. There's a photo of his premises on one of the local newspapers website, the flooding looks pretty bad. https://www.islandecho.co.uk/homes-underwater-in-binstead-with-fire-crews-battling-the-flood/
  4. It's not necessarily the end for Seven Mills as don't forget Andy is selling it and not dismantling it. If a fellow RMWEB member buys it we could quite easily see it featured here by it's new owner. I'd be tempted to buy it myself if I had the space.
  5. Seeing that Class 14 has certainly whetted my appetite for the forthcoming Minerva model.
  6. Direct Train Spares in Burnley sell a very reasonably priced rolling road. I bought one last year and i'm very pleased with it.
  7. Apparently this level of detail is set to become bog standard in the future.
  8. This is where the old Preston to Longridge line crosses Skeffington Road in Preston https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.7687128,-2.6832562,3a,75y,160.89h,71.4t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sYiHqU3IoIPZN0rcUPSG7wg!2e0!7i16384!8i8192?hl=en

I was thinking that the lack of glazing was to protect the welfare of the staff. We are being told to keep spaces well ventilated in order to reduce the chance of catching Covid.
  10. I use the exact same trestles. They are nice and sturdy and have a good range of adjustment which enabled me to get the baseboard at an ideal height to suit me.
  11. Thanks Ade & Julian, looks like they would be fine for 2 or 3 hours working on the layout which is what I was after. Keith.
  12. These look interesting. Do you know how long they last on a full charge by any chance? Thanks.
  13. I did likewise with the 1st photo! All I can say is stunning, absolutely stunning.
  14. Thanks Norman, having a loco on the programming track along with the autocoach did the trick.
  15. I've never tried programming on the main before but I'll give it a try. I'm assuming it can't do any harm if the system or decoder doesn't support this.
  16. I have the DCC fitted version. F1 switches the coach interior lights on and F2 does likewise for the drivers compartment, despite the instructions saying differently. I've tried reading the address of the decoder however I just receive an error message indicating that the decoder isn't responding. This is a tad annoying as I want to change the address from it's default of 3 but can't.
  17. Why be so nasty and aggressive? Someone was concerned that they hadn't heard from Rails and I referred to a quote from their website. I was trying to help, which I thought that was what this forum was all about.
  18. I remember that, is was very well done and even fooled the local TOC, One Anglia as it was then, who included an article about it in their on board magazine.
  19. The statement on the Rails websites says:- "Therefore over the coming days we will be cancelling pre orders and informing customers personally." Which, as you say, would suggest they are working through a list.
  20. Also on the Hattons site. I received an email from them yesterday.
  21. In stock as of yesterday. I have one on the way from Tower Models
  22. I'm tempted to build an underground garden railway using downspouts.
