I was thinking that the lack of glazing was to protect the welfare of the staff. We are being told to keep spaces well ventilated in order to reduce the chance of catching Covid.
I use the exact same trestles. They are nice and sturdy and have a good range of adjustment which enabled me to get the baseboard at an ideal height to suit me.
I've never tried programming on the main before but I'll give it a try. I'm assuming it can't do any harm if the system or decoder doesn't support this.
I have the DCC fitted version. F1 switches the coach interior lights on and F2 does likewise for the drivers compartment, despite the instructions saying differently. I've tried reading the address of the decoder however I just receive an error message indicating that the decoder isn't responding. This is a tad annoying as I want to change the address from it's default of 3 but can't.
Why be so nasty and aggressive? Someone was concerned that they hadn't heard from Rails and I referred to a quote from their website. I was trying to help, which I thought that was what this forum was all about.
