Accurascale announces at KUA in OO gauge
Pegleg90 replied to adb968008's topic in Accurascale / Irish Railway Models
Don’t suppose you have Mk2E escort coaches in the works in the background to go with these? pre-ordered now -
Accurascale announces at KUA in OO gauge
Pegleg90 replied to adb968008's topic in Accurascale / Irish Railway Models
Fantastic announcement, been quietly hoping for these to run on a layout I haven’t built yet! Have to admit though had only thought of getting one wagon rather than 2 but suppose it does make sense to sell them as a pair due to only 2 prototypes out there and have run together! -
While I’d love a KUA I’d be surprised they’d do one as they’ve typically done wagons in large variants/running numbers to date unless they are about to change tact? Points carrier or anything like that would be very welcome. what ever it is I’m sure it will be well worth the suspense!

Class 37, by Accurascale
Pegleg90 replied to Accurascale Fran's topic in Accurascale / Irish Railway Models
Stop it please, my wallet can’t take it any more! If this is just a warm up before Warley I dread to think what that release will be! Great announcement though. Look forward to seeing the stand Sunday. Think 37609 will be dropping into a shopping cart shortly. Talking 37609, a quick search on Flickr shows it with snow plough, don’t know if this is a recent addition but will your model come with snow ploughs? -
DRS Class 88?

Just watched the Video via YouTube, geez they’ve really raised the bar with this model. Just need to build a layout now! One question I’ve got now is, DCC fitted, what number function chip will be supplied as they mentioned 4 & 6 a number of times in there.
-
Excellent update Hattons. Best brace my wallet then if these are (if I've read this correctly) due after 18th November for the original 30 versions! Best behave at the Warley show then. Very much like the new liveries but cant justify buying them.

I messaged Hattons about delivery and the airfreight service the last week, they didn't have a definitive date for leaving the factory at that time. Saying that, yesterday I adjusted my order so 1 of the two on pre-order is now on the air freight service and the other arriving with the sea freight ones - no problem changing this so presume still no date yet. Regards Ali
-
Hi Hattons Dave, Possibly a daft question but is there a final date to order or update an order for a 66 on the air freight service by? Presume doesn’t matter if DCC ready, fitted or sound either? many thanks in advance Ali

Flangeway Snowploughs - 2019 plans
Pegleg90 replied to Richard Barnett's topic in Flangeway / Footplate
Should the Network Rail ones not have the yellow and black hatching across the bottom of the plough? Still looks really good though. -
Love the insight into the development process and really looking forward to these wagons (DRS packs) as they look really good now and I’m sure they will be excellent by the time they arrive! Looking forward to my first purchases from yourselves! At least we wouldn’t loose the orange containers! Cheers Ali

Are they likely to come into Hattons DCC fitted (inc. sound) or are Hattons going to need to fit these themselves so stagger delivery maybe?

Flangeway Snowploughs - 2019 plans

2 network rails ordered! -
Just seen this thread but completed the survey almost immediately on receiving the email about it. Definitely a good shout for a widely varied market that’s changing constantly. I’m a modern era modeller and would particularly like to see engineering equipment/wagons such as sleeper carriers, salmon flats with and without the frames to hold track panels, tilting point carriers etc. There’s a broad range of kit that no one seems to touch in RTR form. Look forward to seeing/hearing the results. Regards Ali

Mark 5, By Accurascale
Pegleg90 replied to Accurascale Fran's topic in Accurascale / Irish Railway Models
There was a news article on bbc reporting Caledonian sleeper disruption due to a set having the emergency brake pulled and causing wheel flats. Don’t know if this is what’s been mentioned -
Has there been a sample video of the sound versions yet? know there was a video showing how they did it but don't think I've seen a 'finished' example yet - could be wrong.

Received mine yesterday and while wasn’t over taken with the factory weathering it does look better in person and there are subtle differences in the weathering if you work your way along the formation of the modules are fitted as they come out of the packaging. Some photos below. Currently layoutless so dinner table is a stand in. Overall lovely detailed model and pleased with it
-
Really looking forward to getting mine, I'm just torn between weathered or not weathered after seeing these photos, have the weathered on pre-order. Model yes looks fantastic just the all over weathering has me considering doing my own. decisions decisions!

Have you had any livery/decorated samples for review that you're able to show us? quite looking forward to these! many thanks in advance,

Just looked at Hattons website and the DRS Compass and plain (link) are both on their website now along with some of the GBRF ones. Colas and a few Freightliner & GBRF ones still to be added by the looks. Looking good! http://www.hattons.co.uk/stocklist/1484058/1000588/1000635/0/Hattons_OO_Gauge_1_76_Scale_Diesel_locos/prodlist.aspx Regards Ali

Hope they do but maybe do some of the higher running numbers. DRS Plain & Transpennine would be of interest. Maybe they'll half the new release numbers and make up the difference with 88's - subject to them getting the rights to produce it of course.
