  1. I was watching some shunting at Peak Dale wood a few weeks back and I got talking to a man who knew of a website/app that told him the whereabouts of every locomotive on the rail network. However, I can't remember the name of it. So he could tell what 66s were hidden in the sidings at Great Rocks from merely looking at his phone or laptop. Does anyone know of an app/website that tells you what duties each locomotive is on on a particular day?
  2. Anyone know if Slater's are intending to re-introduce their GWR coaches like they have done with their Midland wagons?
  3. That's brilliant, especially the view of the Blue Pullman going over Headstone Viaduct. Thank you!
  4. That's fantastic, I hadn't seen those before, thank you so much!
  5. Does anyone know where I can find some footage of the Ambergate to Chinley line? I'm particularly interested in the section between Rowsley and Buxton but the few dvds I've looked at completely miss out the Wye Valley. Are there any good BFI films with this railway?
  6. I saw your recent interview with New Junction and it was really interesting. Since the fiddle yard has become smaller, have you had to sell many items of rolling stock and locomotives?
  7. That's great, thank you.
  8. Some of my favourite layouts are 2mm finescale/N gauge. The sheer scope of what can be achieved is its best attribute.
  9. Were these ever found on any services in and around Sheffield Victoria?
  10. Interesting, I am guessing it's an SECR D class
  11. Has it completely gone? I'm pretty sure there's still hope of it being sold in future when time and circumstances allow I think?
  12. Didn’t the photo of Midland condition loco have a Deeley chimney and the EP show it with a Johnson chimney?
  13. I’m pretty sure they have tooled for the Johnson chimney as one of the EPs has one.
  14. Very much looking forward to seeing the extension to Bala. I love layouts that contain a few seperate parts of a line, feels much more like a whole railway.
  15. Glad to see that MR wagons have rejoined the range. I hope the Midland and GWR coaches will also rejoin the range in due course.
  16. 2020 is looking like a very expensive year for me thanks to Bachmann! These look fantastic!
  17. They look fantastic, very much looking forward to my Midland version. I was wondering, have they tooled for the possibility of a circa 1906 version with Johnson chimney and door?
  18. If they aren't doing both variations of the topfeed then that's a little bit disappointing.
  19. I've been following this layout for some time now but I've just seen the video of it in BRM and it's incredible, even more realistic on video than in the photos which already look brilliant. I look forward to seeing more of phase 2.
  20. Having just seen a layout with tank locomotives that possess firebox glow I withdraw my previous comment about not seeing the point. It does a actually work quite well on both tank and tender locomotives. If we are heading to continental prices with Bachmann then I would like more of these extra features that they also have in european locomotives.
  21. Do you get the DVD content on the digital edition?
  22. You weren't lying about it being the steak fillet version! I wasn't really in the market for one but that is tempting.
  23. I like the idea of a flickering firebox but if it’s within a closed cab anyway (possibly with driver and fireman) will you be able to see it? I was considering adding a flickering firebox to some of my locos but I hadn’t even considered the tank engines with closed cabs for that very reason.
