  1. Hello Richard, thats very kind of you ,its the panel mounted one. I know the output goes to terminals 1&2 but the Input is my problem. Kind Regards,Derek.
  2. I purchased a controller called the "Orbit Supertroller" from Cove Models in Farborough several years ago and very good service has it given. However I dismantled my old layout and disconnected aforesaid controller, now that I want to reconnect it to my new layout I have discovered I do not have the instructions to hand any longer. The wires to the layout go into the first two terminals, but I don't know where to connect the input, which I believe was 12 - 16 volts A.C. Is there anyone out there who can help me with the information for the correct supply connections Please. Regards.
  3. Hello Graham, I have that information but by all accounts he has moved in the last few weeks. Many Thanks anyway for trying to help. Regards,Del.
  4. Can anyone enlighten me as to the New Address for Connoisseur Models and Jim McGeown. I understand its in Herefordshire but thats expecting a lot of the postie. Regards.
  5. Hi Paul, I do agree with Jonte's last remark and if I can get my Peco Track looking half as good I will be a very happy Bunny. Kind Regards,Derek.
  6. Hello Paul, very pleasing and very encouraging. Regards.
  7. Should also have given Credit to the other two smaller clubs along that stretch of the North West Coast, Southport & Fleetwood on gaining Conference Status. Regards.
  8. As a lifelong QPR Supporter it could not have pleased me more if we had got back to the Top Flight as our old "Gardener" has well and truly stuck a couple of fingers up at the two rich F1 clowns at Loftus Road. Well done "OLLY" now lets hope you can upset a few of the other 19 managers by staying up. Best Wishes to one of the nicest Guys in Football. Regards.
  9. Paul (PWR) says:- Bob Thanks for your comments - there was an article about the Road-Railer in the 2009 British Railway Modelling Annual or was it 2008. Nonetheless there is a picture of the B1 on this train at Braintree. There was also an article in an earlier version of Model Railway Journal. Both had plans but I am afraid that if you want one then its scratchbuilding I'm afraid. I take it you mean the Road - Railer as Finescale now do the B1 and if its as good as their V2 it will be very good value for money. As normal my only connection with them is as a very happy customer. Regards,Derek.
  10. Hello Paul, thanks for a brilliant answer.I will follow this topic avidly. Regards Derek.
  11. Paul, although I have read through your posts several times I can find no mention of what paint you used to colour the Track initally. I have no sight in my left eye so if I have missed it I apologise. The trackwork looks superb and I hope to come close to your standard on my ficticous East Coast seaside terminusstaion that I have just started building in"O" Gauge after 50 years modelling in "oo"gauge. Kind Regards,Derek.
  12. Jonte, on the Tower Models website under "O"Gauge ,then Peco, then Track there is a plan of the Peco Curved Point and it shows that you will need opposite handed points for the arrangement you have enquired about. Regards Derek.
  13. Hello Gordon, I just think the whole think looks superb,I had been lucky enough to see the buildings in situ on Peterborough and they are going to look just as good on your layout. The whole area around the tunnels just yells out "Kings Cross Approach" and so OK to the purist there may some technical errors, but for me and I would guess a great many other people that Signal Box area is the DOGS. I do hope to meet you at Ally Pally at the BRM Show, there can't be that many people of your height so I have a far chance of spotting you. Kind Regards,Derek.
  14. 6026 said :- Actually, nearly a month ago i reported someone whom i had been watching for some time, i did recieve an ebay acknowledgement but thats all and no further response since then - anybody believe ebay are actually interested in protecting the rights of the buyers at all? Or, are ebay happy so long as they keep creaming their cut from the seller? To be honest they only seem interested in turning a quick buck. A while ago someone bid £47 for a item I had listed then said it was a mistake. EBAYS RESPONSE WAS LIKE HISSING IN THE WIND. Regards.
  15. Hello Gordon, Great to see progress on your layout, do keep us updated its fascinating. The buildings are something I have long admired since I first saw them in one of the magazines. I then had the privelige of seeing them in position on their old home in Nottinghamshire and had I not made the decision to change over to "O"Gauge by the time they came to be disposed of by "G" you may well have had competition for your purchase. A very belated Happy New Year to you. Regards,Derek.
  16. What's on your mind?

  17. "As rare as Hens Teeth" they may well have been,I do agree, although I often saw 60526,60536 and 60539 at Grantham in the 1958-1961 period and dear old 60533 made us very Happy Knights on far too many occassions until we realised it was not 60532 Blue Peter coming into view. More likely to see John & Shep from the BBC. Being pretty quick on the uptake I have JUST realised that SHEP probably never took his name from an old Jim Reeves Sad song about a mans dog, but, from the fact that the Blue Peter Garden was at SHEPherds Bush near to the Television Centre at White City. WELL I WILL BE 63 IN 48 HOURS TIME SO GO GENTLY ON ME. Merry Xmas to one and all.
  18. If your all so desperate go on ebay and look for a DJH A2 Built to the same sort of standard that we are all expecting from Bachmann and if your wallet can afford it buy it but its LIKELY TO COST YOU AT LEAST ABOUT ??200.
  19. I would fully endorse Dave's view having dribbled over the A2 and O4 at an excellent Wigan Show (as always). Just as I give up "oo" gauge for 7mm the two latest Eastern Region offerings from Bachmann look as good as it gets. Hats off to Barwell.
