  1. That karaoke's not getting any better. The rest of the boyband have stood up from their stools but are yet to perfect the air grabs.
  2. It's certainly not the poorest I've seen. Maybe it could be better but it would come at a cost, and not just financial. Don't decry amateurs, some are extremely good but they also have more time available to produce a guide - and that is a cost too as it means to produce something 'better' something else wouldn't get done.
  3. The innovation shortlist is formulated from the highest number of nominations of viable products. Bachmann's servo-powered pan was nominated in 2019. Accurascale's pans are moto-driven and hence, in form and operation, are considered different.
  4. Phil was on hand to capture the smiley faces. My thanks to Lawrence and Tim for hosting the awards. Thanks too to the recipients for taking time out of their day for the presentation. The tables were then turned on @CF MRC to receive the Best Layout award and onto @tc as Exhibition Manager for last year's show. Accurascale turned up in force with @Pixie, @Islesy and @Accurascale Fran who seems well-pleased with the haul. I bet they can't shut @Islesy up about the Chaldrons being a good idea.
  5. Thank you to everyone who voted in our annual poll last month and thanks you to the winners who attended the certificate award ceremony at the London Festival of Railway Modelling this weekend. The full results can now be announced; well done to all of the winners. N Gauge 4mm Scale 7mm scale Special awards Well done all; a great year for Accurascale and Bachmann Europe. Something we've not done before is an Olympic-style medal table so I thought it would be a bit of fun.
  6. How silly; the authorities trying to help people avoid burning and drowning.
  7. What's your beef with this roasting? 😉
  8. That would have caused surprised raising of security eyebrows at the show as an obviously suspect item. I'm wondering if it should be retitled as The London Festival of Railway Moaning next year after the last couple of pages.
  9. Keep up at the back. https://www.rmweb.co.uk/topic/170549-class-31-by-accurascale-its-time-2-brush-up/page/32/#comment-5099575

  11. I know what it is but I don't know if there's an embargo time
  12. It's been on the plan to be announced for Ally Pally for some time, given the local relevance. KR is something wholly unconnected.
  13. I certainly agree with that and I'd be on one like a shot too. I've had a couple of lovely flights in one.
  14. Which one are you trying to order? The 37s are all sold out at Accurascale. Let's jump on the internet and rant - RMweb is not TripAdvisor. Oh, and you're in the wrong topic anyway.
  15. I did ask Andy about LNWR vans and he said they hadn't found any close enough, maybe worth looking again for a future batch.

  17. The worst bit about it was I asked the AI for a painting of a Deltic.
  18. Thanks to the exceptional quality of the AI software Dall-E the CAD render of the TractorHooverWhistler is complete. Well they started it with the Mk1234 coach.
  19. Class 31/0 No.31018 D5500 In 1955, the British Transport Commission published the 'Modernisation Plan'. This plan intended to revolutionise the railway system, increasing speed, reliability, safety and line capacity of British Rail. To achieve this meant replacing steam locomotives with diesel and electric traction, and the Class 31 were the first engines built by Brush Electrical Engineering Company under the new plan. The locomotives were built in Loughborough in 1957, but their original 1250 HP Mirrlees engines soon proved to be unreliable, so were replaced by 1470 HP engines produced by English Electric in the 1960s. The Class 31/0s were later withdrawn in 1976, but D5500 was restored in Doncaster and has since operated on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. The Models We are thrilled to be releasing both DCC Ready and Sound Fitted 00 gauge Class 31 locomotives depicting 31018 in its current, preserved, condition, wearing BR blue livery (as pictured above). 20. Organisations that send out press releases after close of play, recall them due to error and then re-issue them. 🤬 😊 PRESS RELEASE Class 31 No.31018 Today, Locomotion Models, in partnership with Accurascale, announced the release of a 00 gauge Class 31 No.31018 diesel electric locomotive as the newest addition to the National Collection in Miniature Series. The model has been designed and is being made by Accurascale at their factory in China. Class 31 Information In 1955, the British Transport Commission published the 'Modernisation Plan'. 21. It shouldn't be an issue but I'm wondering if there could be an issue with the native keyboard app. It may be worth trying SwiftKey or similar to see if there's any difference in behaviour.
  22. Euston, we have a problem. Although I know some have slow loading and blank page issues I've not heard of anything so extreme.
  23. Certainly so plus I hope you'll be hearing from @SouthernRegionSteam soon too following the weekend. ;)
