Apparently there was unseemly interest in certain parts of male anatomy...

Its one of the best Documentairies I've seen for years. Happens right under our noses if you will excuse the expression? I'm very old and still don't know half the things that happen in nature every minute.

Welcome to the amazing world of German grannies

  2. It genuinely is one of my favourites Graham, one of the hidden gems around the land that shows what somebody can achieve as one of their first significant projects. We all know the 'big names' but there are thousands more who can stand alongside them on merit.

Having now got a wonky sense of smell courtesy of COVID, I'll not wash for a week then stand very close to the Memsahib. I'll report on the feedback, in particular how anxious I feel following said feedback.

At the recent Ally Pally show, one exhibitor had an atomiser wafting around some aromas.

Thankfully, these didn't include certain olfactory delights people at certain shows are reputed to have come to know and love* ... .

(* or not - as the case may be ... .)

  4. It's recurrence on each visit to the site will depend on whether you permit the cookies; if you don't it won't know whether you have previously accepted them. If you are accepting them a d getting recurrence I will need to escalate the case; if you are declining them I can't help.
  5. Well done with your similar achievements in Model Rail's poll too.
  6. The review of these will appear in BRM May.
  7. Our review samples got lost on their travels but, belatedly, we review these in BRM May.
  8. I've just done the review for these for BRM May.
  9. These are on their way. The review will be in May BRM.
  10. I've had communications to say that actions toward a resolution are well underway.
  11. You ended up creating a difficult spot for yourself once before with aggressive posting. If you are in contact with Accurascale with an issue just let them get on with resolving it rather than keep repeating yourself - especially in an irrelevant topic (that always looks like the person has an agenda rather than an issue).
  12. It's not just that; it's evident that there's some sh*t-stirring going on which isn't helpful to anyone who has a genuine issue. You decided to bring that whiff into this topic, on someone else's behalf, so please be careful.
  13. That's what we tell house guests when they're drinking too much good stuff. 😉
  14. If it's a significant issue I always post a notice on our Facebook page when the site is offline - https://www.facebook.com/rmwebupdates You don't have to be a Facebook user to read the updates.
  15. Apologies for the downtime which was at Invision's end. "Downtime Incident Early this morning, our launch configurations that have been in place for some time started failing. An internal utility at AWS that has been in place for years was no longer operating. A work around has been put in place and we are investigating with our AWS account representative as to the root cause of this failure. They do not yet know at this time. Our sincerest apologies for this downtime event. We have monitoring, automatic scaling, and various systems in place to prevent just such an issue. However, with such a low level piece of the AWS systems failing without warning, we were unable to quickly recover. At this time we have no further information but can promise we will work with AWS to determine root cause."
  16. Who knows? Some changes were made today so I'll look in the morning. Does it close if you click elsewhere on the screen?
  17. When new topics are started you can add a tag for the scale/gauge it applies to which shows, clearly, in the title. Few use it. This topic included.
  18. Cheltenham sell plenty of other stuff, not just railways. It was covered in the announcement topics in January.
  19. A 'normal retailer' was seen bagging some bargains for his shop/stand.
  20. All fine here on Chrome/Firefox/Safari and Win11; fine on Android.
  21. That karaoke's not getting any better. The rest of the boyband have stood up from their stools but are yet to perfect the air grabs.
  22. It's certainly not the poorest I've seen. Maybe it could be better but it would come at a cost, and not just financial. Don't decry amateurs, some are extremely good but they also have more time available to produce a guide - and that is a cost too as it means to produce something 'better' something else wouldn't get done.
  23. The innovation shortlist is formulated from the highest number of nominations of viable products. Bachmann's servo-powered pan was nominated in 2019. Accurascale's pans are moto-driven and hence, in form and operation, are considered different.
