Accurascale Class 55 Deltic - 4mm scale
ac1874 replied to Andy Y's topic in Accurascale / Irish Railway Models
My Alycidon has been away for repair for 5 or 6 weeks now via Rails (side window not attached, paint rubs and bent handrails). Hopefully back soon as haven't actually run it yet. Purple one still looks amazing though and I sometimes just look at it, sounds even better! -
Cheers

Where is this from please? I am out in the US at the moment.

Did anyone get a chance to ask the Bachmann guys when they are expecting the next batch of 47's? I've got 712 on preorder, I know the Bachmann website says Jul/Aug so I guess imminent.

Debates about price, competitors and historical lead times aside, it is pretty amazing that you can rock up to an exhibition and not only see a new model announced but actually buy it there and then.

Where do I find this post? I fancy a good laugh! -
Keep an eye out, Rails of Sheffield had some more this afternoon seemingly unexpectedly but they are sold out again now.

Depends when you signed up doesn't it? Some of the rewards show as "not applicable" for me. -

Loving reading this thread, genuinely felt like a kid at Christmas this morning. I've not felt like that for many years, it seems that I am not the only one either. -

Wow this is incredible, you're all in for a treat. I've driven it up and down a few times and now just listening to it idling. Supposed to be doing some work but can't resist revving her up every now and again! Consider this your first review....10/10! Only question and maybe in my ham fisted excitement I have dropped it but I can't see a list of functions in the box. -

Strangely it doesn't feel that heavy in the box, but when you get your hands on it properly it is a seriously hefty bit of kit. -

I take it nobody got a shipping notification then? I can't be the only one tempted to claim that I had! 🤣 -

Is the boat anywhere near yet? Shall I get my telescope out and head for the coast? -

Sounds like Alycidon has broken down on it's second run down the GCR today, hopefully not an omen! Still looks pretty though. -

Imagine what it is going to be like when the Accurascale guys tell us the container is on the boat. After marinetraffic.com crashes due to rmwebbers constantly hitting F5, there be will members stationed at the coast with telescopes scanning the horizon. -

CANNS INTERSELLING TRADERS - aka Bridestowe Model Shop
ac1874 replied to Andy Y's topic in Model Shop Guide
He is a liar basically and has been adding stock to his website during this week. Orders can be placed, he accepts them and marks as "complete" (this is not automated and appears to be done manually). The buyer is charged at this point and then he doesn't respond to any form of contact. Anyone who knows him or of him, please pass on that I have acquired his personal address, employer details etc and if he hasn't got in touch and/or refunded me by Wednesday I will be publishing this information, contacting his employer and paying him a visit. -
