  1. As they haven't physically got what is essentially batch 2 yet (including both of mine 😀) what difference does it make if they use the time to send out the leftovers from batch 1? I get the impatience, we've been looking forward to this for a long time, but enjoy the anticipation for a couple of days.
  2. I just got a notification from Accurascale and thought it might be a shipping notification.......Turns out it was an invoice for a 37! I reckon we are all like kids on Christmas Eve here!
  3. Presumably why Fran went with "turned up" rather than "dropped off" which has taken on a whole new meaning since Rapido delivery drivers bad day! We should expect them on our doorsteps tomorrow then.
  4. Pretty sure this is Adam Cann of Cann's Models, Okehampton. I would advise steering well clear based on his "too good to be true" prices being exactly that when his website had a sale on a few months back. I don't know if everyone got their money back but a couple of us resorted to talking to his family on Facebook. Anyhow, hopefully this week is going to see 3 of these beauties landing on my doormat (92020, 92010 and 92017 from Kernow), for now (and likely always), the price is the price for these.
  5. It sounds like the Pullman is here and about to be available. Without Hornby bashing, I hope everyone who preordered (somewhere other than Hornby) gets their model.
  6. It was flooded last night and nobody in front of me to gauge the depth. Having watched a few Rufford Ford videos on YouTube recently, I wasn't going to risk hydrolocking for a better view!
  7. Over to Flight Radar 24 to look for flights from China with an Accurascale callsign!
  8. It looks so good, the Accurascale bar is set do high that any new loco is going to be an incremental improvement, this looks to be another step forwards. I made an excuse to go through back way out of Loughborough last night in the hope of seeing the big version but too dark and worse the meadows were flooded so had to turn back!

Is Les Ross as per it's current condition?
  10. A few things to note. 1) The livery is actually very nice. 2) Strange decision to not include any warning flashes etc. This may be from an alternative reality, but it is a reality where health and safety doesn't exist. 3) Melted forehead. 4) Mould mark that looks like a moustache above the horn grill (present on both power and dummy) Overall it is quite nice and you can see the minor tweaks to the exterior of the HST. The exhaust baffles and light bar/horn grill are fitted OK on mine but suspect this is where people will see problems with QC.
  11. Rail Adventure power cars due next month according to Hornby stand at GBMRS today, Pullman power cars labelled as December.
  12. I have 2 x sound fitted 92 that are paid off in the last couple of months but don't think I've seen any credits for those, presumably I finished paying off before this fully kicked in? I know my Deltic and mk5's were pre credits.
  13. Working fans on the Blue Pullman HST?
  14. Well, it is a new, modern, Accurascale announcement so naturally I've ordered a pack. I may as well just have my wages paid direct!
  15. If you have ever fancied a Class 50 in 0 gauge, now is the time. https://railsofsheffield.com/blogs/news/class-50-mega-sale
  16. 47712 shipped from KMS Railtech apparently! Wasn't expecting it so quickly, happy days.
  17. The next batch are here according to Bachmann and soon in stock according to Rails. Better prepare the credit card for some news....
  18. I took my 8 year old daughter to her first model railway show, I had to bribe her beforehand and the donut from the cafe definitely helped smooth the road. She walked around for near enough 3 hours without complaining, enjoyed various layouts, took some pictures and browsed the trade stands to see what she could find amongst the boxes. We don't have a layout at home (well, a Hornby Santa oval that comes out once a year) so playing on the Thomas roundy roundy upstairs and shunting wagons was a novelty that she thoroughly enjoyed. I'm still not really sure how I got away with taking her and I don't think she is a railway modeller (yet), however she did walk away with an (18 quid) Oxford Rail Virgin Mk3a and a free lorry courtesy of KMS Railtech and has been telling me what a good day she has had and "how quick it has gone". I can only assume my dream of a Father/Daughter operated layout is now a possibility. The setup of the hall, not feeling hemmed in or overwhelmed by people and the hands on layouts for the kids are what made things a lot easier for me (and many others) to take their kids along, so well done to Stafford Railway Circle, much appreciated.
  19. Not had a chance to open yet but rushed home in the pouring rain to save it! A few pictures appearing on Facebook.
  20. Delivered, but left at the front of my house (instead of at the sheltered rear as per instructions to DPD). Hope it isn't damaged....
  21. Well, it's September, presumably in the same batch as the 47's from Bachmann's announcement earlier this year (Lady Diana Spencer etc). Wallet panicking.
  22. Coming next week by the sounds of it, I've seen them advertised at one retailer to preorder this week, whether they will get the stock from Hornby of course.....
