  1. I think so, must be a Hornby one though as they weren't as heavy as the Accurascale model, this one appears to be floating!
  2. Looking shiny ahead of it's and your release! Some livery changes, so another version for your next run.
  3. It definitely looks like a Deltic, can anyone at MRS today do me a favour and check that it tastes like a Deltic please.
  4. Well, rejoice if you are also happy paying a premium! I get it and I am glad it is available, but with prices spiralling (and threatening to go further) it sticks in the throat a bit. Still, not as bad as the red team and their tactics but could take a lesson from the green team! With all that said, I'm still working out if I can move money around to afford it!
  5. Looking forward to pictures from the show, I would loved to have been there but it is my (have her alternately) weekend with my little girl and she doesn't like trains, that said she would probably have happily come along!
  6. Unexpectedly in Dublin on Monday evening and Tuesday (work and their ridiculous expectations!), can I come and play with the Deltic and Class 92 samples at Accurascale Towers? Pleeeeasssee. Andy

Likewise, got the preorder in at RoS. Wonder how close it will be to q1 2023......
  8. Mine was supposed to be coming on Monday but DPD have decided they are bringing it this morning, how lovely of them.
  9. So basically Hornby have covered their 'losses' in honouring the preorder price with direct customers (in the face of increased manufacturing and shipping costs) by increasing the cost to their retailers.....
  10. I've got a video of it and he runs to his Mum/Gran when it starts revving up!
  11. Went to see this beast today to get in the Deltic mood ahead of the delivery of my 2.
  12. So it is 23 days for the factory to get them finished and out the door, then no doubt some fun and games getting a container on a boat, then we can all log on to marinetracker.com!
  13. Their social media team also replied that the LNER Azuma was due "next month" to a query in October. I don't think that they really have a clue which is annoying really considering that most people probably need to know when £500 is going to drop out of their bank account, saved or otherwise.
  14. 87035 in Virgin livery as per the recently unveiled repaint.
  15. What is different than a standard Dapol 68 release? Is it just the number?
  16. Surprised not to see an orange one considering that most get drawn into producing whatever is new and shiny but a nice selection.
  17. Cheers, on the website it takes you to the checkout and says "pay £289.99", I am pretty sure it won't take the money straight away.
  18. If I don't get a decent response from customer services, I am sure I can work out Simon Kohler's email address.
  19. I quite agree but I still think they should be aware and gave an opportunity to do something about it.
  20. My view is that they are expensive, it is a silly mistake Hornby should be made aware and held accountable. It will be interesting to see what the response is, I'd expect them to come up with a way to make it right.....Even if that is sending some silver paint and a brush!
  21. I emailed Hornby about the missing silver paint, not that they can do much. It is one of those you wouldn't necessarily see unless you are looking for it, but they should be aware if they are not already.
  22. Mine also like this, interesting to see if it is all or just a batch.
  23. I did overhear somebody (who would know) at GETS talking about problems Hornby had with the lighting on the APT. This may be nothing to do with what we are seeing of course and those issues resolved, that said it looks like they've wrestled this a bit and come up with a less than elegant solution.
