    It's interesting that it looks like they chose to take the photos on a stony beach - it all looks like Jetsam so maybe they just found it and are chancing it (well, they are definitely chancing it!).

     

    Shame they don't have a best offer, could have some fun with it.

    Reminds me of a new housing estate near me that is accessed by a number of portals through the buildings to a central area. It was very quickly discovered once people started moving in that fully laden moving vans could get in, but when empty and the suspension less compressed....

    This Wrenn loco advert may be even dafter than it looks.

    I may be confused but I think the chap selling the Wrenn locos is asking £800.00 each not £800.00 for the lot

    I added 3 to my basket as an experiment and the total shows 2440.70 plus 42.70 p&p

    That's how I read it - the other issue is, say two people are daft enough to want one. So they both do a buy it now. And they both message the seller saying they want the same one. Whoops. 

     

    Overall, 0/10 for the whole thing.

    Another packing material that can be problematic to recycle is bubblewrap, although it can be reused if you have the need for protective packaging material.  As soft plastic/film it generally can't be recycled via the kerbside bin; it might be acceptable in plastic bag recycling bins such as are often found in supermarkets, but they often have signs on them asking people not to use them for general rubbish and you might find a jobsworth telling you not to put your bubble wrap in there.

     

    A minor positive with "landfill" i.e. unrecyclable waste these days is that it can put to good use rather than being tipped in to one of the increasingly scarce holes in the ground.  My LA gets a tick in this regard with its energy-from-waste plant on part of the old marshalling yard site at Millerhill: https://www.fccenvironment.co.uk/green-energy/millerhill-rerc/.

     

    We have an expanded polystyrene manufacturer in the town and for a short time they accepted old material for recycling. Didn't last long as they found it so difficult.

    Hmm, says no "serious injuries" which implies there may have been some non-serious. 10mph isn't much but there's a lot of momentum in a loco even at that speed.
