  1. I had a second hand grifter, ruddy awful thing. Weighed as much as a battleship.
  2. It must be very frustrating for you to have the delivery dates slip but that's life at the moment unfortunately - I can wait, and I'm sure everyone else understands too. Hopefully the finance side isn't biting too hard for you as slipping delivery dates means slipping final instalment dates of course (but hopefully the factories aren't billing you yet!).
  3. Yes I was just about to say they say one other person has reported the issue. They have asked some questions which I will try and answer tomorrow.
  4. Our famous 365 day guarantee? So the legal minimum then?
  5. To make software compatible with previous versions can make it so that the required changes can't be done and increases the amount of testing required before release so I do understand why this is the case.
  6. Messy hair, ill fitting clothes and a rabbit in the headlights look. With everything closed for so long, that's me now, let alone in the 80s when growing up!
  7. Thankfully as it means quite a few survived
  8. A member of the Clergy liking trains? It would never happen
  9. They do indeed - not run for a couple of years though while they build a new ride that has affected the track.
  10. I do have a couple of MX633P22s but nothing to actually connect them to so don't know if my issue is limited to the 600R.
  11. What contact method did you use to contact Zimo as it wouldn't hurt for me to do the same. One thing made me jump when I was doing the testing - The Zimo is obviously set to have the lights on as when connected to the BTH it lit up and made me think I'd shorted something
  12. Any idea what constitutes older firmware as I'm obviously several behind and it hasn't worked from out of the box new. Just done some tests: Loco 1: Oxford Rail N7 Loco 2: Heljan BTH Type 1 Decoder 1: Lenz Gold Decoder 2: Zimo MX600R Loco 1 with Decoder 1: Works Loco 1 with Decoder 2: Error 2 Loco 2 with Decoder 1: Works Loco 2 with Decoder 2: Error 2 So still what I was seeing before Both decoders work fine, it's purely programming track.
  13. I'm expecting the same as before - Lenz modules work fine, Zimo not detected. Next thing to find is those bits to test.
  14. I received something from Rails yesterday - very well protected but for something smaller than a oo gauge flat truck in a box that you could fit a 9F in More than happy for a box to be reused though.
  15. Ok I have dug out my set - seems I'm on quite old firmware now?
  16. Presumably if they did they would be permanently on strike?
  17. Is there anything useful here? https://www.steve-banks.org/prototype-and-traffic/364-lner-buffet-cars-61-6
  18. Good Morning, I recently bought some "spares box" bits from ebay and need a little help identifying some battery and control boxes please. I think I've found two of them on Wizard but the middle one has eluded my searches so far Thank you
  19. Good afternoon, I still have the issue so I would be interested to hear what A&H suggest. I'll try and dig my set out at the weekend (it's packed away at the moment) and see what firmware I have.
  20. Ooh, scope for a Popmaster spoof - One Tier Out!
  21. Note: I'm not comparing Hornby to Nazi Germany before anyone jumps on that
  22. When my Mum was a lab tech at a school, they had seperate cleaning areas for "dry" and "wet" cleaning. One day someone managed to leave some sodium on a piece of equipment and left it in the "wet" area. My Mum didn't spot this, and rinsed it off in the sink, the piece of sodium went down the drain and then blew a hole in the water trap much to her surprise (and everyone else in earshot)
  23. Sodium is a good one too - can't see this being permitted these days
