Sorry, only just noticed this. I'm not at present mainly due to the fact that the 158 I bought didn't have any! The front ends were loose too but that has come in rather handy for changing the light units

Can you get away with cutting the bits out then paint the chassis black, I don't know how much you need to cut away to get the right reveal.

Puzzler - look at the two pics of 5227. There is little depth to the tank sides, it's a case of removing the tanks, cutting and boxing it out then refitting.

I think Stephen has a kit for the tanks too - tarting them up isn't easy as Bryn found out.

Take an axle out and measure the length. Pick the most similar wheel set to order.

If nothing matches, send them off for turning.
