Well after absolutely NO progress for nearly a month I'm back with another update... I've sort of scratchbuilt a footpath gate, by vandalising some Peco/Wills palisade fencing, which looked dreadful, so that had to be binned. Did it again and it looks passible now which is a bonus. I've also tried to blend in some of the scenics around the footpath by the station so that looks OK now. Other than that pretty much nothing has been done. See you in the next update.

Got a tonne of them in the model shop I work at. They're great when weathered and placed at the back of a layout but they're not worth more than £8, which is what we charge. All stock is donated, and all money goes towards upkeep of our steam locos, which is why we charge a lot.

I have actually seen some of those s stock coaches in a charity shop before now selling for £10 each. Unfortunately someone else snaffled them before I got the chance!

IKR! I just caught it in time! 1,500 does seem a bit dear for what is essentially 4 coaches - I picked 4 Hornby hawkesworth coaches (super detailed) for less than £20 each! It cost me in all £64! Given by how much they are new rrp, that's a super bargain!

Now that is what's called bizarre.

Not been doing that much for the past few weeks unfortunately as I've been busy with other stuff... Anyway.... Having placed down some more road sections (which I make on blank wallpaper then glue in place on the layout (surprisingly it works OK)), I realised that the colour of the pain I use to make the road surface was WAY too light, so me being the idiot I am I did not actually darken the light paint, I for some inexplicable reason I decided to paint all the other road sections in the light blend. It looked a little odd whilst the paint was drying but finally after about 5 attempts I got it right... Other than that not much has happened... I've bought some more rolling stock for the heritage railway, and also some Lima NSE Mk2 coaches have been serviced. My Bachmann GWR 158 has been serviced as well. Sorry about the lack of images but I'l try and get some for next time!

Right, here's the first update... Been busy adding bits and bobs to the curves and adding some more bits of road section... I've also added some images so you can see what I'm talking about! Not had much time to do anything else on it really. Anyway, here's an image of the layout... Rivet-Counters and Purists, hold your breath now! You'll have to excuse the mess, been busy with other stuff as well. The buildings, will be upgraded soon. The massive wooden building is a TMD, but it will very soon be replaced. The card buildings are from Wordsworth Model Railway. And to finish, here's an image of a Mk1 in the station...
