Hi there, Really looking forward to these wagons to go with my Bachmann BYA/BRA rake. Just wondering, on the Margam-Round Oak trains there are often what appear to be these wagons with Blue Tarpaulins - just wondering if you are producing this variation or if I'm being stupid and it's a different wagon! Right folks time for an update Horribly built fire station has been removed and is being replaced by an equally bad scratchbuilt structure, from thick card with embossed plastikard faces (see image). Still a lot of work that needs to be done, but we're (slowly) getting there. But obviously that build couldn't go well, because I was the one building it... And don't worry I am sorting something out for those exposed card corners! Furthermore I've been bedding in some more of the details on the layout - imo it looks a lot better than it did! I've also dry-laid some ballast (pets at home calci sand) to see what it looks like , it definitely needs weathering! Additionally the card platform has been removed in preparation for a new one... That was meant to be complete a couple of months ago! To be honest I can't remember what else I've done in the time since the last post even though it's probably quite a lot!

Firstly, hope this is the right area - sorry if not. I recently bought a Bachmann 121 with sound - running on an NCE Power Cab - which runs beautifully with all sound functions working, until I'd run it for about an hour.Following this any attempts to access the higher functions (10-29) were met with the sound powering off (but lights and movement remaining) and the only way to get sound back was to factory reset decoder (CV 8 to 8) - any idea why this and how I could go about sorting it? No, sadly not for me. Many people have had the same issue, it's a shame, but I guess most people operate on DCC now.

Got my replacemen t torquay today, seems to work well. Pretty pleased with it even if the crawl (under DC at least) isn't great!

Glad it's not just me, i'll test it at my model club tonight to see if the issue persists. Any other analogue users on here, what's your experience been like?

Well my Erlestoke arrived today, and to be frank I'm horrified. The detail is lovely - far better than anything else I've ever seen, but the performance is dire. Slowing right down to a crawl on 3rd radius curves - at 40% speed, no crawling capapbility whatsoever - anyone else had this issue? Edit - should probably add that i'm already in touch about Torquay, but will also mention Erlestoke!
