  1. Hi Boris Any updates please - I've read elsewhere that the bridge decks are now being or have been removed but people with cameras seem to be shying away!! Best Wishes
  2. Thanks Boris. At least Simon Lee and I can look forward to your updates and information - hopefully others will join us over the next couple of weeks.
  3. Hi Boris Pete55 kindly referred me above to the NYMR Unofficial Forum where I can see that there are updates being added. However I, for one, would very much appreciate any news, pics and local chit-chat on here, if you would be good enough to keep us up to date - the news would of course be greatly enhanced by your local knowledge and style(!). Thanks for the offer and I hope that others will take you up on it!
  4. Thanks GWR. These are 2 of the 3 that come up when you search YouTube for 'Bridge 27'. I appreciate your looking for me.
  5. Hi. Is anyone aware of any news updates, pictures etc of the works to replace this bridge over Eller Beck, please? I've found 3x YouTube videos so far and I gather from these that the bridge parts have been delivered to site and that a Kirow crane arrived at Goathland yesterday, so if anyone knows of any other sites / threads with relevant information, I'm sure I'm not the only one that would be interested. Thanks in advance.
  6. Thanks Chris. I didn't think to look at RTT as there seemed to be a continuous coach replacement service and I guess that I must have just missed the trains as they came in and left - as we know, the turnround time at Sheringham is very short. Thanks again.
  7. Hi. I had understood, perhaps wrongly, that all 755 services were now back up & running fully. Having just spent 2 days in Sheringham, whilst I’ve seen several Sanders coaches in the Station approach, I have not seen any trains! Considering that the service should be hourly I cannot help but think things are still not right. Would welcome any information as to when the full Sheringham service is likely to be fully restored, please? Regards Graham
  8. Exactly the same for me - opening new pages / threads is amazingly slow and I've also seen the Error 522 page shown above on several occasions.
  9. Does anyone have any experience of the Digitrax Loconet WiFi Interface (LNWI) in these exhibition circumstances? I'm using one for my non-exhibition layout with an iPod and an iPhone running WiThrottle and I have to say I'm well pleased!
  10. To try to clarify...…. I'm not sure which 'Paul' raised the initial query but a new bridge has been installed at Sheringham within the last couple of years. It is this bridge which is shown in the picture in the OP above. Hope this helps.
  11. Hi Paul The bridge being referred to is at Holt whereas the mainline connection is at the other end of the line - Sheringham. Hope this helps.
  12. This was obviously a few year's back, but I have to ask - what traffic would this service have been carrying between Workington and Dover and would this Speedlink service have called anywhere else en route?
  13. Hi Rich I shall look forward to seeing the updates and news of the development of The Stonethwaite and Bainrigg. Knowing your enthusiasm I'm sure it will not be long before we are seeing things starting to happen. Best Wishes
  14. I couldn't agree more - its great to see new businesses starting up here. I wish Smiths Model Railways well!!
  15. Here's a different combination from this afternoon.
  16. Hi Jonathan I had the same question when I read Jim's post above. It's near a place called Sutton Weaver which is just north east of Frodsham, Cheshire.
  17. 4630 - Thanks for this quick reply - much appreciated. I can fully understand about the 'route clearance' paperwork already being in place and therefore no need for time, effort and money to have a new 'route clearance' established. However when you consider the mileage involved, approx. 640 mile round trip via Newcastle & Carlisle v. 160 mile round trip direct from Doncaster to Crewe, I just wonder how the fuel cost of the Cl 67 compares to the cost of creating a new 'route clearance'? Anybody know the Cl 67 mpg figures?
