  1. Here are some pictures of a miniature TT scale switching layout in a guitar case. This layout is about 36 inches(91.44 centimeters) long and about 18 inches(45.72 centimeters) at its widest point. The person that created this layout is originally from Romania but has lived in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada for about 20 years. This is the only small switching layout that I saw at the show!   9. Here's two pictures of the Union Pacific in Salt Lake City, Utah. In the first picture, the Utah State Capitol building is in the background. The second picture has the Downtown Salt Lake City skyline in the background. Both pictures have the Wasatch Mountains in the background. I will be in the Salt Lake City area this weekend for the National Model Railroad Association(NMRA) model train show. The model train show will be in suburban Sandy, Utah which is about 10 miles(16 kilometers) south of SLC. This junction has four perpendicular diamonds that are used by the "L" trains and is one of the busiest railroad junctions in the world. Kennedy Expressway(Interstate 90 freeway) with the John Hancock Center in the background.
