  1. Sound Transit's Central Link light rail train running adjacent to the Interstate 5(I-5) freeway in Seattle. The train had just left from Seattle/Tacoma International Airport and heading towards Downtown Seattle(the tall skyscrapers in the background). The iconic Space Needle is also in the background(to the left of the skyscrapers). http://www.railpictures.net/photo/315236/ Wendell Idaho, USA
  2. A Union Pacific locomotive switching the cars off of a barge at Harbor Island in Seattle, Washington. The Alaska Railroad(ARR) owns this barge and it provides the best way to interchange cars with other railroads. The ARR interchanges with the BNSF Railway and Union Pacific Railroad out of Seattle. The ARR interchanges with the Canadian National Railway out of Prince Rupert, British Columbia. http://www.railpictures.net/photo/352169/ Wendell Idaho, USA
  3. Here's a beautiful picture of the Downtown Seattle skyline. Two Amtrak trains from the Cascades route are waiting to depart from the King Street Station. http://www.railpictures.net/photo/390897/ Wendell Idaho, USA
  4. Nice snowy picture of the Big Ten Curve. I love it! Wendell Idaho, USA

  9. More pictures of the Los Angeles area. Both of these pictures are the Santa Fe Railway's(ATSF) 4-8-4 steam locomotive with a train heading from Los Angeles to San Bernardino. In the first picture, the train is in the median of the San Bernardino Freeway(Interstate 10 or I-10) in suburban Alhambra, California. Metrolink runs its commuter trains down this section of track. In the second picture, the train is in suburban Covina, California. http://www.railpictures.net/photo/433923/ http://www.railpictures.net/photo/434073/ Wendell Idaho, USA
  10. Nice pictures, Jamie. I had driven through Cheyenne and Laramie, Wyoming within the last two weeks. Southeastern Wyoming is a good place to watch Union Pacific trains. Wendell Idaho, USA
  11. Here's a couple more pictures of San Clemente, California. This time it is with Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner doing the show. 13. Here are some pictures of Glenwood Canyon between Denver and Grand Junction, Colorado. The Interstate 70(I-70) freeway and the Colorado River traverses this canyon. Union Pacific(formerly Rio Grande, then Southern Pacific), BNSF, and Amtrak all utilizes the Glenwood Canyon for transcontinental travel. I have driven through this canyon a lot of times within the last two decades(mostly as a professional truck driver). http://www.railpictures.net/photo/549151/ http://www.railpictures.net/photo/410112/ http://www.railpictures.net/photo/391886/ http://www.railpictures.net/photo/294107/ http://www.railpictures.net/photo/382802/ http://www.railpictures.net/photo/169165/ http://www.railpictures.net/photo/174808/ Wendell Idaho, USA

  18. Approaching Cisco Crossing. _DSC4917.JPG The CP bridge. _DSC4924.JPG I really like the pictures that you had shared of Cisco, British Columbia, Canada(with the bridge over the Fraser River). Model Railroader magazine had just started an article series(in the January 2019 issue) that will span over the next few months about the N scale Canadian Canyons layout. The layout features the Fraser and Thompson River canyons in British Columbia. Wendell Idaho, USA
  19. I totally agree with you, Ian. The animal-rights activists such as PETA(People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals) have literally shut down most of the circus industry over here Stateside. Wendell Idaho, USA
  20. Nice video clip of the Coast Starlight in my native state of California. Wendell Idaho, USA

  24. Neville, you had built a superb O scale layout! This layout scene reminds me of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania here in The States(with the steel mills). Keep up the good work! Wendell Idaho, USA
  25. Yes, the newer store is smaller(in the number of items) than the old store in Denver on Broadway. But, I think the new Caboose store is still the largest store in The States in terms of square footage. Wendell Idaho, USA
