  1. Here are some pictures of a Norfolk Southern(including "heritage" locomotives) train in Warsaw, Indiana. The train is running down Hickory Street.   2. Here are two pictures of a Union Pacific Railroad train in Springfield, Illinois(state capital). One of the pictures includes "heritage" locomotives. In both pictures, the train is running down 3rd Street. Springfield is about 200 miles(320 kilometers) southwest of Chicago and about 100 miles(160 kilometers) northeast of St. Louis, Missouri. The late Abraham Lincoln was a longtime resident of Springfield before he became the 16th President of the United States(in the 1800's).   6. More pictures from my native metropolitan area of Los Angeles. These two pictures are LA Metro's(Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority) Gold Line light rail trains. The first picture shows a train traversing the median of the 1st Street Bridge over the Los Angeles River. The second picture is the train running down Marmion Way. The train is running down Roosevelt Street in a residential neighborhood.   23. Gordon, here in The States, the freight and commuter(heavy rail) trains do not have to stop at the traffic signals(stoplights) or stop signs. Light rail trains do not have to stop at the stop signs, but they must obey the traffic signals(e.g.- in Los Angeles). Wendell Idaho, USA
