  1. I mean, all @Accurascale need to do now is add 6ft, a couple of cabs and a pantograph and TA-DAH!!, some quick and easy SR sub units and LMR/S AM electric units! You know it makes sense, especially the AM4’s 😉😀😗
  2. I’m hoping for some 25kv EMU’s, the more modern the better 😀 Though I’d be happy with some AM4’s too.
  3. To add to the mystery box posts. Now, I was hesitant on this because what Rapido produce is generally not in my era (nowt wrong with that) and I model the modern day. However, I decided to take a punt anyhow because to me, putting up a mystery box is akin to a big red ‘do not push’ button! And I have to say I’m not disappointed. Contents; 1) One very heavy (I did not expect that weight!) 1980’s sound fitted Lion 2) Wisbech Tramcar (will go nicely with the lion) 3) A second Wisbech Tramcar (will also go nicely with the other one and the lion) 4) An engineers Toad 5) A mink van and 6) calendar, pin badge, pens, coffee cup coasters, APT book and some other bits n bobs. I look forward to having a play with them later on 😀
  4. To be fair, after retailer discount they’ll not be far off Accura’s prices anyhow. £170, £264 and £306 respectively. Though if history repeats the SFX may not be discounted from £360 just yet.
  5. A few people have mentioned a lack of steam announcements. I guess it doesn’t help that Bachmann have chosen to change their announcement process to only announce new products in the quarter they’re due to be released, rather than at research stage as they used to. So if they are working on new steam, I would suspect this is a reason for the lack of communications and may continue in this fashion for several quarters more given it takes a number of years for products to go from inception to market.
  6. So it was, serves me right for not paying full attention 😬😆
  7. There was a OO class 47 (first thing announced) and an N Gauge brake van. edit: apologies, the 47 was N gauge. Serves me right for only listening in whilst working at the office 😬😆
  8. I think that could be an illusion from the lighting. All over lighting removes shadows and flattens profiles. To be honest, we’ll probably have a better idea as more images are posted.
  9. Now this I’m am looking forward to! I may have to order another! 😆
  10. Thank you Alex, much appreciated. I’ve seen it and responded 👍
  11. Ta! That means mines lost in the post then 😂 if any representatives of Cavalax could message me, I’d appreciate it 👍
  12. Has Cavalax sent out any balance payment requests as yet as I don’t appear to have received anything in the ol’ inbox! many thanks!
  13. Does anyone know what happened to the Sound P2 Prince of Wales? Seems to have vanished into the ether! Many thanks. edit: product code R3983SS
  14. To be announced in April.
  15. Lokpilot Decoders; For anyone interested, I have all lighting functions available using a Lokpilot 5 Basic (product code 59029) with thanks to @TomScrut for pointing me in the right direction. f0 - Headlights (directional) f1 - Interior cabin lights f2 - Tail lights (directional; requires f0 on) f5 - Stairs light f6 - Search light (directional; requires f0 on) I think that covers it. ta! Bob
  16. Ah, I have the MTC MKL version looking at it. All switches are in the ‘On’ position and all work on DC. I’ve got a Lokpilot V5 Basic knocking around, might try that a little later instead. Thanks Tom, appreciate your input.
  17. Hi Tom, may I ask which version of Lokpilot you are using? I ask because I’ve installed the MTC version (59659) and an unable to use Aux 3 & 4. Looking at the destructions, it appears they are solder tab functions unfortunately. cheers! Bob
  18. That’s what I thought would be used, as it’s in the artwork too. But it does look like the model has a different letter T unfortunately. I’ve superimposed the logo you posted onto the picture that Black & Decker Boy posted to highlight the difference.
  19. Thank you for the images. It does look like the “t” is incorrect, I’m sorry to say. Unless the Revolution guys have an obscure picture of Caroline with that font hidden away somewhere! 😆
  20. Caroline has arrived all safe and sound, sans one horn, not present in the box. I did some quick and unscientific measuring against a Bachmann and Accurascale 37 to see how the roof height looks. Unscientific in that the various bits of flotsam and furniture that adorns the 37’s roof causes inaccuracies, that said, looks reasonable to my naked eye. The detail is stunning, however. A very beautiful model. Now to source a decoder! 😀
  21. Hi All, looking forward to receiving mine in the next day or so. looking at the Network Southeast version posted on this thread, is the “t” in the Network SouthEast branding/lettering correct? It doesn’t look quite right when comparing to the prototype. On the prototype, the t is squared off, but on the model, it looks to be angular. insight would be appreciated. Bob
