Was over 4600T, didnt need banking out the quarry and dragged it up the B&H very well apparently.

Yeah train is too heavy for a single 66 to run straight through, runs into tuebrook, lead loco detaches and the rest goes back in the opposite direction off to drax. The light engine then comes back to LBT for the next set. getting the 60’s was i believe to get rid of the need to do this as they can pull the train out of the branch and straight through on their own, freeing up 66’s for other tasks. not sure why they have gone back to the old way of doing it.

In my short driving career ive had quite a few workers lineside cutting foliage back ect wearing ear muffs and as such not hear me blow the horn initially, really is dodgy! Does anyone have any more details on how it happened?

Had similar tenshodo issues on a underground train im building with just one tenshodo and pickups on the non powered bogie, however 2 tenshodos wired up together with on of the cheap Bachmann 8 pin chips works a treat in my other tube trains, suprised me how well they run when paired up.

I hope the 43001 is a typo... 43002 was the first production HST powercar.

Hi all. here i will show progress on my exhibition layout ‘Harefield Road’ Harefield Road is an 8x2 scenic area built with Tim Horn baseboards (with future plans to extend the scenic area by 4ft on each end) i lived in Harefield as a child, and little did i know at the time, the London Underground Central Line was supposed to be extended past there, to Denham. the layout is based at the site of the planned station, where the Chiltern Mainline passes under Harvil Road bridge. the scenery is just my own imagination, inspired by things i have seen on the network, such as the Harrow on the Hill buildings, Ruislip’s footbridge, South Harrow sidings and so on. layout control is via a Digikeijs DR5000 and a TCS UWT-100 hand throttle, with automation via itrain in the near future. all rolling stock is DCC Sound where possible, with lots of locos having upgraded lighting functions (i like to mess with them a lot!) hoping to exhibit the layout late 2021/2022 any questions feel free! ps more regular updates on my Instagram/Facebook, just search ‘Harefield Road’ also check out my Youtube at ‘Underground Eric’ cheers Eric
