After a bit of a bleak week news wise it was reviving to visit a show today. Many different types of people discussing knowledgeably, warmly, and harmoniously.

(Well, I guess some people expect me to at least pretend to sound cheerful. I normally would be - but it's far from easy right now - for various family reasons.)

All in all I've been lucky this year, I've not been in any shops that force music into the "experience" and I haven't listened to any music sources that playlist the Top 40....
Even better, I mute the sound on tv ad breaks!
I've not even played my vinyl copy of Now Thats What I Call Music: The Christmas Album, which despite being nearly 40 years old seems pretty contemporary in places...
Bah. Humbug!!! And a happy New Year!
