  1. have to work out how to power it off the stay alive! 5 minutes of tail lamp heaven
  2. No, but the model should have worked out the box without a stay alive being required (or having one fitted from the factory?)…
  3. how’s the fix for the 37’s (existing not future batch) going?
  4. they still would have had to go through the UK acceptance process even when we were part of the EU, under the management of change process… can’t just “assume” because somethings done to a standard (or indeed something has been in the country for years) that you can run it straight away… even stock transfers within the same company to a different region are a raft of paperwork…
  5. Extended, only retract buffers when coupled using buckeyes…
  6. Indeed… still waiting for mine, friend ordered the ones that appeared Friday, dispatched Monday… accurascale’s answer… his just and I quote “slipped through “… seems like I’m apparently in the slowest picking lane in history along with you 🤷‍♂️
  7. Any chance you can put in big red letters across the box “works best with ESU” 😂
  8. Only on days not ending in y…
  9. Vice different carriers how about a pre order system that doesn’t let “new” orders of the same product that’s been pre ordered and paid for get dispatched first? Seems a tad poor to prioritise “new” money over old…
  10. Then contact them… not the rest of the world 🤷‍♂️ this has been done to death here and done to death on another manufactures page (as funnily enough they used ESU Electronics!)… if your that unhappy send it back?
  11. The ESU vs non ESU argument isn't going to change. It’s done - time to move on! If anyone wants to get their ESU decoder blown and doesn’t have a lokprogrammer, feel free to use one of the many companies out there to reblow it for them, or if you can’t pay (the small amount I expect they’d actually want to cover their time), send it here if it stops you crying about it and I’ll put the ESU file on it just to stop having to scroll between useful content (such as the motor tower issue) and the never ending argument about who’s right! The future is people wanting more and more from models, that may be (in some people’s opinions) going too far at the detriment to others, but they’ll be a lot of people who are happy to not have to butcher wiring on their brand new locos to get the lighting configured to be accurate… I don’t disagree perhaps Cavalex could have sorted out standard DCC chips pre programmed for suppliers, but I know a few shops who wouldn’t want to have the chips hanging about long after the locos have sold, so wouldn’t have ordered them anyway! So you can’t win whatever you do? Would it be better just to not release locos? Can’t upset anyone if you don’t do anything…
  12. Accurascale… anyone who uses ESU electronics going forward will have this, it should be seen as a benefit to give the most prototypical lighting functions possible, something traditionally you could only get by heavily butchering the locos wiring…
  13. Are you paying for a number or for a product you want? Quality they’ve not demanded a higher price per coach for a number, is an extra 100 (assume that’s actually the number not just cancelled orders / excess stock they normally have when they finally land)… is it going to be a big deal?
  14. accurascale always have “extra” stock, so will have more on the way following the pre orders being sent…
  15. how’d you managed to wear them? Would hope the printing would stay on through normal use… maybe accurascale could help you if you drop them a message…
  16. There isn’t drawings, it’s only basic wiring on the old toolings, without DCC ready is very simple, pickup up motor via the board on top of one bogie, lights are LEDs so use the change in polarity to function
  17. It’s on the latest class 31 update; short of listing the numbers for each of the 3 batches which makes the list long again I guess it’s difficult to sort…
