  1. Looks like Phases 3 and 4 will be over the next three-four years, possibly more due to things being shuffled around.
  2. Ah, I see. Apologies for the pointless thread then.
  3. Didn't seem to be a thread for this already, so I thought I'd make one. Hornby have recently posted a teaser on their socials, which seems to be for a "new train". https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdaMWpHBpM42MU9qRgzlEpg/community?lb=Ugkx_equugm2Aj6FRmce5JOiLh3TqaR9LV6v
  4. An interesting announcement. Don't suppose there's any chance of Accurascale reissuing the Hattons 14xx while they're at it? Someday someone will do a 14xx, someday!
  5. I don't think the issue is duplication, actually. I think it's timing of duplication. If Accurascale came out tomorrow with a new 8F, it's not quite the same thing as Bachmann coming out with a new 31 at the exact same time Accurascale is coming out with a new 31 - the current 8F models are dated, so a more modern one would be appreciated. If we were years out from Accurascale's Class 31's release, then I don't think Bachmann would be getting any backlash over duplication.
  6. I'm curious about the autorelease couplings, but in all honesty, if I wanted a 31, I'd get an Accurascale one.
  7. The wait for a new 14xx continues... 😢
  8. It's very obviously a 14xx, since I keep banging on about someone making a new one. But then again, it's never a 14xx, so...
  9. Obviously it'll be a 14xx, that's a little locomotive. It's never a 14xx. 😢
  10. Did I suggest a 14xx already? If not, a 14xx.
  11. Wow, that was a letdown. Locomotion 1 is interesting though.
  12. I just made my first order with Hattons a few weeks ago, and now they're closing down... This must be my fault, my bad everyone. In all seriousness, this is terrible news - the loss of Hattons will be devastating for the hobby. It was certainly a shock when I heard about it, as it seems to have been for everyone else. Another casualty of Brexit, it seems - sunlit uplands, huh? My sympathies to the staff.
  13. As I mentioned in a post earlier in this thread, I think Planet will be the next era 1 locomotive they go for - like Lion and Rocket, which are more based on modern day replicas/rebuilt versions, there's a replica Planet Locomotive they can scan for design work. A Patentee is a good shout too, but I feel like Planet is more likely. Who knows though?
  14. Clearly this is a 14xx announcement they're teasing, obviously. *No, it isn't 😢
