  1. So what benefit would be my home address be? Can I have yours?
  2. I know Andy. The issue is my business license is registered to that address and I can't advertise a different address or I would be in breach of my license which carries a hefty fine.
  3. My address and phone number are both listed on the website, yet some are still not happy with this.
  4. As with any business large or small. Prudence is one thing, but out an out personal unfounded, ignorant comments from some contributors is another. I have been open and honest as I can be, I don't see everyone on here even leaving their real names.
  5. Hi Richard, I have to be very refrained about saying what I really want to will all those who criticize me for at least coming forward with such a bold venture but hey it's a learning curve. If they don't want to order that's fine, but no need to be so invasive and blunt with the criticism and hide behind a blank profile. Even the issue with PO Box use, that's standard practice here. If I was a limited company in the UK, there would only be an address that my company would be registered at, that could be my accountants for all any would know, it doesn't have to be my home address.
  6. Both returns and cancellation policies are listed on the website, delivery costs have yet to be confirmed for all areas, but if you are a common user of buying online, then you'll have a rough idea of cost.
  7. And you have our full address on the website
  8. PO Boxes are commonplace here, because of community mailboxes. We are subject to retail trading laws in whichever country we sell products in.
  9. As I've stated before, all distribution will be sent from the UK. Non-UK customers will be responsible for their own customs charges.
  10. The VAT is charged at source, import duty is down to you.
  11. Almost, We have to wait until all the figures in, so at some point, we have to stop taking orders to collate those figures.
  12. It wasn't a cheap dig, it was a fact that we won't be bringing out too many products at once.
  13. Hi Colin, 1. According to Royal Mail £15.15 2. As an EU country, you will pay VAT 3. These will be available during the manufacturing process. 4. It's on the website.
  14. We have to look at every aspect of the project as it proceeds. Some details become available to use quicker than others. We have had tremendous support for the project and pre-sales have confirmed that we have done it right. Regardless of a few contributors on here.
  15. the final CAD drawings will be available this week, and tooling starts July. The EP samples should be out September, which will be on display at Warley this year. We are not as ambitious as DJ Models, and we want to grow slowly, bringing out about two projects a year. We will be building a few extra to cover any warrenty issues, but that's it. We won't be holding stock on the off chance that they get sold. Having capital tied up in unsold stock is not a prudent step at this stage of the companies life. If after the release we get a flood of orders or interest, then we can make a 2nd run.
  16. If you ordered the sound version the next installment will be August, and the DCC ready version November.
  17. This question extra bodyshells seams to have raised some peoples blood pressure. The warranty will work if you have a damaged body shell, then we will collect it and fully replace it. Because as a rule something else may be damaged and just exchanging the body may not solve all the issues. The big manufacturers produce extra because they can and it helps with in-shop quality control. We will have parts and spares for warranty purposes.
  18. The resin kit is what drove me to do an RTR version. Even the kit instructions say that the chassis is not strictly correct and needs some heavy modification.
  19. Hi Stan, The resin kit is still available if he wants to use that for kit building.
  20. We will be carrying some spares but not many. If your loco is defective then yes we will swap it right away. We'll be mostly carrying sound decoders and motors, and some chassis.
  21. Hi Nigel, It is a cast metal chassis to give it weight and traction.
  22. It works fine for me. Refresh your screen and try again. If you're using a computer press F5
  23. Until we give the factory the final number the order line is still open. The first payment will be a combined deposit and 2nd payment to bring you inline with existing customers.
  24. The N Gauge has only 22% of where we need to be secure enough to proceed.
