  1. We are aware people would want more than one, this is just to gauge how many customers we will have for this specific product. Its to figure out how much demand is there, not to see how many models we will have to make, that comes later from actual orders.
  2. Fixing the spelling now, thank you. The King hasn't been officially launched yet, so there isnt an EOI yet.
  3. Howdy fellas, just a quick heads up. The expression of interest form is now live on our website! You can sign up today on our website here: https://krmodels.co.uk/collections/n-gauge/products/n-gauge-shark-brake-van Any questions or issues, please do not hesitate to contact us.
  4. No we can still make tweaks and changes to the CAD, nothing is set in stone right now. If you do see anything wrong that you'd like to correct us on, we are open to suggestions. If you could send me an example of what you are referring to, it would be most appreciated. Email me at research@krmodels.co.uk and I can see what I can do.
  5. We do appreciate your work, and we are lifting the embargo on the Shark. Unfortunately, these things happen, and now we just have to make the best of it.
  6. Production implies that we are at the final stages and ready for delivery. We aren't, we are still working through the test samples to make sure the model is ready for mass production. Production should start around May and be ready for delivery not long after (though this is subject to change, of course). So no, the model is not in production right now, the gearing system has not been selected at this very moment, and we are still working through the test samples to make sure the model is as good as we can possibly make it. For now, thats all i'm answering on the GT3 on this thread. Feel free to message me personally at research@krmodels.co.uk if you want more info.
  7. We are waiting for the next test sample to arrive before we start conducting those tests, the samples that we used at Warley, despite the fact that they worked, weren't ready to conduct those kinds of rigorous tests. However we should have a definitive answer by the end of the month.
  8. Correct. The reason the N gauge one wasn't put into production, is because we didn't even reach 1/4 of our target figure to make it a viable product.
  9. This is correct. As such, the EOI wont be open until after that date. Half true, I (Michael) am still working.
  10. Howdy all, Michael here I realise now my father isnt the most articulate of people, and often his words aren't complete reflections of what he wants to say. To clear this up, what he meant was that DJ has no involvement in this project at all, save for him going bust and liquidating all of his assets. All work done from here on is is purely our own and will have no assistance or guidance from DJ in the slightest. These CADS are not DJ's anymore, they are ours and the only thing DJ can do is watch as our project succeeds where his failed. We do apologise for the confusion since this one is definitely our fault here, but I hope this has eased the confusion and (albeit warranted) anger towards seeing DJ's name come back.
  11. As we have stated before, we have a few gremlins that we are trying to fix with a new software system. Normal operations will resume very soon.
  12. If we are selling in the UK, we are bound by UK consumer laws. Having a canadian address doesn't change that.
  13. Short answer, it wouldn't. Longer answer, any information sent to us will remain confidential, unless stated otherwise by the other party. We understand not everyone wants their details to be outed publicly so we assume that, again unless stated otherwise, they want to remain anonymous.
  14. Apologies for not posting this sooner. I realise this should have been clarified long ago, it has definitely been a learning experience for us.
  15. I don't know what you mean by "secrecy", since we tried to get you to email us to answer the question, knowing full well it would be posted here, so that neither party can edit either side of what was said, making sure nothing is misinterpreted. But apparently that was reaching too much, so I apologise. Secondly, our delivery regulations are as follows: Once we announce via newsletter/Facebook/on our website that the models have been dispatched for delivery, there will be a 30 day period in which you should receive the model. If you do not receive the model within those 30 days, you can contact us and get another one sent to you, while we collect the other one still in transit. Once you receive the model, there will be another 30 day period in which you may return the model for a full refund, provided the packaging isnt damaged, the model isnt damaged, and the model has not been tampered with in any way. After that 30 day period, the model will not be able to be refunded or returned. If for what ever reason the model is dysfunctional or damaged in anyway upon delivery, or proceeds to break down or cease function during the 12 month period following delivery, provided that the model has not been tampered with in anyway outside of standard operation, then the model can be replaced free of charge (delivery is free also). All packages are delivered and tracked by the Royal Mail, meaning that all packages will need to be signed for upon delivery. I hope this answers your question, any more questions and i'll try to answer as best as I can.
  16. What is your query? Email me direct keith@krmodels.co.uk
  17. The sample is far from the final pre-production sample. What other manufacturer show you every step of the process. I don't see Bachmann or Hornby sending out videos of their models prior to release?
  18. Like I said before we only got the sample on the Thursday before the show, and didn't get chance to do anything with before it was whisked away to be photographed. But considering we have brought a sample to show only 8 months from taking the first deposit, not to mention this is our FIRST model, I think we're doing pretty well. These issues will be fixed.
  19. We do have a video, but the file type for it is unsupported. Sent it to Andy in hopes he can figure something out for us.
  20. We will be producing the 4-4-4-4 arrangement in both liveries available. As for the incorrect date, that is my mistake. I (Michael) take responsibility for that, not my fathers fault.
  21. This is true, the models themselves arrived at my (Michael's) house on the Thursday while we were at Didcot and werent able to do any pre-show testing due to our already very limited time. Apologies for any confusion, I hope this has helped some of you.
  22. Apologies for the mishap, this was a previous version that should have been deleted. Current version here. We are only a 2 man team currently and we do have a lot going on right now both in and outside of the company, so I do hope you forgive us for a few small errors on the advert. Like we said at Warley this weekend, we are still new, we do still make mistakes, but we do learn and we do 100% intend to bring a high quality product to market and I hope you've seen that in the GT3 that we have shown off.
  23. The exhaust grills were in the drawings but removed during testing. The crankpin covers were just plain and would cover the nuts on the conrods. The chequer will be added over the battery boxes and loco steps. There are some other minor details that will also be corrected prior to final production.
