    Are they going to produce any more of these in 00? Need a set of GWR platform lamps, if not does anybody else make them. Ideally working ones.

    Well after driving the real thing this mont, Ive given into temptation and ordered a DCC sound version of Dinmore Manor. Looking forward to hearing some sound samples now so I know Ive made the right choice

    Mine arrived and has found use in a South Devon Railway demonstration freight already.

    Looked at website is the cost less if you dont have a speaker with it? Theirs no option for that I can see on website? Never had sound before and just want to plug and play.

    Some more photos of it on the layout. Overall really pleased with it, has plenty of weight and is running quieter after running in. Copper chimney still annoys me. The photo used of the real thing on the Kernow site even shows it in black. May paint it.

    Just picked mine up on way to work. Only disappointment is copper capped chimney as it was black during it time at DVR

    Always thought a ready made Ashburton Station or even a kit would be a popular model for a company to make.

    Ok thanks for the replies. Just fearful of trying to make boards that join? Or is it not as difficult as I fear? Trying to get back into the hobby after a ten year gap as an adult now.

    Whats the largest baseboard that can be moved by kne person? Could a 7’ x 1’6” baseboard ve made so it can be moved around the house on my own?

    Ive always fancied moddeling Staverton using the scale scenes kit with Bishops bridge loop as well. Although my liking for big engines will probably scupper this. Id love to model Corfe Castle Station but being new to the hobby it looks like a complicated building to begin with scratch building.

    The aesphetics of the locomotive are not going to be at risk with the locomotive being owned by Swanage Railway though. If anything they will be improved if its in steam. Aesphetics alone do not mean something needs to be conserved in a museum.
