  1. Hey thats more like it , somebody's been looking at the suggestions that have been made over the last few months. At leastthey are from a UK supplier, they look very good from the photo's that you posted Grahame. Things are starting to look up a long last As Bernard TPM said it only needs a cab to change the vehicle's looks and you have another variation. Regards Ray.
  2. How about a new title Mikkel.

  3. Hi Tricky-crs ,Thats fantastic the cabs look a lot better this time. As Mike @Royal42 said using clear plastic and painting the rest of the cab area might solve the problem. Thanks for your efforts and info Mike. Regads Ray
  4. Hi Mike I like your Matador I am impressed @acg5324 Andy posted an item last week ref rayrimes1 that was advertising on ebay. He has a few military models RAF for sale which are 3D printed .I didn't realise that there was a group of modellers out there that seem to specialise in this sort of thing I thought it was just the every day traffic that we see on our roads. As I said in one of my previous texts on this page im interested in some David Brown RAF aircraft tugs 1940-1950. Regards Ray
  5. Hi all it seems that if we can do cabs in a clear type of plastic the they can be addeded to the bodies after painting in the colours we want that was very informative using that Bell 47 Mike. Regards Ray.
  6. Thanks acg5324, I had a quick look at his site on ebay theres a lot of potential there shame that they are solid vehicles and that the windows are filled ,possibly you may be able to drill out? I hav'nt tried this in resin. only in white metal. Some very interesting trucks and vans . Regards Ray.

  9. Hi Ian, glad to see you are still at it .I am trying to catch up on your blog ,since watching your video on U-Tube . A master piece. The 517 is looking really sweet if thats the term that should be used . I hav'nt heard any news about the Uckfield Exihibition if its on or off at the moment .I suppose we will have to wait until 17 th of May for the latest on covid restrictions, bearing in mind it's about 20 miles from me , I will keep my ear to the ground. If i hear anything this end I will let you know. Keep up the splendid work Ian. Regards Ray.
  10. Hi all I think we have got the ball rolling .I could not see why Oxford Die Cast did'nt do the Tk as they have already done it in 1/76. As with many things it should have been easy to scale up or down in this case once you have the details. I also have on my ownwish list. A larg 1970/80 's Scammell Crusader or Trunker ,Tug unit . Also a David Brown Aircraft Tractor (RAF) style 1940 - onwards . (Some of these were converted to yard shunters.) Look forward to your comments regards.Ray
  11. Hi Tricky-CRS. well done you eventuallly got there any idea as to when you may put them on the market and any idea as to what the price may be ? They look great . Ray.
  12. Hi all looked at Osborns webb site yesterday and its in their new projects box .The Tk will no doubt bring a few additions to our vehicle selection for 70- 80's era .Hope they will do other variants beside the tanker. Ray.

  15. Hi Ben, Whats the latest update on the Hunslets ? The last report we had was the wheels were being changed and then we were hit with Chineese New Year. I hope They have not been put on the EVERGREEN ship EVERGIVEN (should be renamed NEVER GIVEN UP ) Which got stuck in the Suez Canal. and now awaits its fait. If the Egyptian authorities let it go after paying a large fine for loss of revenue. I hope this is not the case. It might have been easier to send them on the Bejing - London Rail link , If it is still operating. Nothing mentioned in the latest journal or on the NGS website. I suppose Cocid 19 has put a stop to most exports from H.K./China. Look forward to hearing the latest. Regards Ray.

  18. Hi Tricky I like your mini buses based on the Leyland Sherpa. Are you looking at having a fleet of Badger Line Buses., or are you just trying to see how many variations of a Sherpa you can get. Thanks for your imput Grahame those military vehicles are the Ngs special load produced by PG models ,His Volo Snow Cat vehicle used by the Marines has just been released for the society looks nice. I did not realise that these were made of resin as most of PG models were in melat . As you probably thought metal would be heavy for loads in N gauge, hes gone for resin as an altenative. This gives us another means of producing models , If 3D is not what we can get easily.Regards Ray
  19. Sorry Richard if I jumped the gun. I was looking at the Rch photo which gave a 1400 number , but as your photo shows they are all numbered in 1100 - 1200 series. Regards Ray.
  20. Hi all we have all tried various means of trying to get good looking vehicles on layouts wether it be in metal or plastic (print 3D). But we still cant get anywhere near the manufactures finished products . So I think we will have to comprimise to the best we can as long as we still able to get something that looks right then its going to be right in our eyes. Yes Grahame I have 2 of those K2 s and a couple of the Humber wagons as well , nice models. Trickey those Sherpas look very interesting you have started the ball rolling. As P G models have ceased operating to the general public He is only continuing to produce the special vehicles for the NGS warwagons Missy you had a go a Printing a Foden ballast wagon some time back I recall .That made a nice loooking model .Have you made any others?. Regards Ray.
  21. Hi Richard. It must be a day of modelling today. FANTASTIC what else can i say The photo s do you proud. Yes the wagons had F.C onthe sides prior to Nationalisation as also B.C. for Backworth.and on release from RCH they had the special livery of BACKWORTH COLLERIES IN full painted on their sides I think that the numbering was in 1400's??. Ray.
  22. Hi Richard. Thanks for the info Im still trying to find my way around this forum comments on my tablet ( no instructions provided just plain old finger bashing) Ray
  23. Morning Richard. You have been busy this week,Yes they do look great I think you may have got something there. Can i have a set of sheaves as well as about 10 wagons when you go into production. If the hand rails come on the etch that will be a bonus.I hadnt realised that you were going into a fell production run ,i thought it was supposed to be just a tesr run. I also like what Caley Jim said .Ray.
