  1. The 2 car units with the pantograph above the cab!
  2. Ahh, they must have moved Italy, it's in the Med not the Atlantic Ocean.
  3. If you read in the project page about its construction, it says that it is 'unsinkable!' Alarm bells are ringing. Also, if you zoom in on the pictures of it being built, the cranes used are made out of lego. You can see knobs you turn to make the mechanism work. Also no mention is made about how to power the damn thing. Merchant vessels need to be dry docked once a decade for a hull inspection, where would that happen? I definitely think that this project is a scam.
  4. How about this? It isn't ebay, it is definitely madness, I just can't make up my mind if it is a scam? https://www.pangeosyacht.com/ Why do I think it is a scam? Check out the address on the contact us page.
  5. Thank you for your replies. I will probably make do with the EWS liveried version of the carriage.
  6. Thank you. So it is the same carriage that ended up in EWS livery, that Bachmann produce?
  7. Basically, I have tried typing various inspection and manager's saloons into google, but, I can't find the inspection saloon in the B.R. shadow frieght company Mainline livery of blue with silver stripes. Both Accurascale and Bachmann are offering class 31407 in Mainline livery. Apparently there was an inspection saloon in the same livery. Did the carriage exist? If so what was the number? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance.
  8. How is the layout progressing? Will the layout feature the bridge on the A6 by the Lancaster canal? Only asking as I have had a couple of cars airbourne over that bridge! (A classic mini and a skoda octavia estate taxi, if anyone is interested?) It would have been cool if someone had preserved the line. Though Knott End golf club wouldn't exist now if it had been preserved. The golf club, club house is built on the site of the station. There is an 0-6-0 saddle tank plinthed in Pilling in the livery of the Garstang and Knott End Railway. The line was originally worked by Manning Wardle tanks, I'm led to believe. One of the tanks was called "Farmers Friend", which had a squealing whistle, which led to the loco, then the line, being known as the Pilling Pig.
  9. I will drop support a message. Thank you for your reply. I will have to do the same with my 2 class 66's.
  10. I'm sure all those niggles will be sorted for the production models.
  11. I too would be interested in another run. I missed out on both blue versions.
  12. Excuse me if I come across a bit thick, but, I have 5 31's on pre-order, paid for at different times. Does that mean they will all get posted separately, or can I have them sent in one box? It seems a bit daft, to me at least, that you would have to pay 5 lots of postage, where as only one lot of postage could be paid for, which I hope would work out cheaper for you. Again apologies if I have misunderstood MCC's post.
  13. Ah but is it a flower class warship?
  14. It may save you a future headache.
  15. Makes you wonder once the class 60 is delivered, will we go through the same as the class 56 thread has just gone through? Don't think I could cope with reading all that again.
  16. Either way, or at either cost, it is ghastly. I am by no means a trend setter or in any fashionable, but that thing is hideous.
  17. Super cool and very rare! I think it's rare for a reason.....
  18. I mentioned a class 58 along with a couple of others in the more model ideas thread. I put off buying a second hand Hornby 60081, to wait for Cavalex to announce their version. I'm glad I did now.
  19. I would also advocate looking at six bells junction. In the railtour files click on the year you want, then scroll down to a specific date then it will tell you the loco's used and the coaching stock as well where known.
  20. I was in exactly the same situation, I spent quite a bit of time this morning going through my emails looking for the order confirmation. I deleted around 2000 emails, I really must keep on top of it. I also emailed the admin email address, however, Andy from the HTG quickly responded with my order number and it is now paid for. He has probably had to go through quite a lot. Maybe if he hasn't got back to you by monday, try emailing him again. The gentleman who responded to me was called Andrew Gillet.
  21. Wasn't 40619 converted for use on the Master Cutler, then passed over to cross country. I stand to be corrected.,,,,
  22. Soryy have just re-read the email. And, I also have absolutely no idea what my order number is.
  23. As have I. Do you know how to pay the balance, as there is no link in the email, and, I can't seem to see anything on their website?
