  1. In his latest video, he mentions he may start up a you tube channel for railway modelling.
  2. Nice replica of Blackpool Tower there!
  3. The Nimbus 9020, as opposed to the Nimbus 2000. I suppose Harry Potter's great, great, great, great, great, grandson or granddaughter possibly might use the Nimbus 9020.......
  4. £169.00, then would need tepainting. They aren't offering any kits at the moment according to their website.
  5. Thank you. I have some time to save up then!
  6. Thank you. Just pre ordered 60081 and 60098. When are these models due in stock?
  7. Ah, that has just cost me an intercity variant. I should be saving up for a car.
  8. I am hoping that Bachmann release said saloon in this livery to go with my Accurascale 31407. I have already bought the EWS saloon to go with 31466.
  9. Well, as a DC user not DCC, it seems that DCC is a headache at the best of times IF it works. Thank god I don't work at Accurascale and having to deal with people moaning. I get enough of that in my day job. I'm just thankful I don't do DCC, as seems nore effort than what is worth.
  10. Yes. The 3 colours were yellow, green and peach according to the above link.
  11. It was a Newspaper published 3 times a week in the north of England where you could sell stuff. it was either green, peach and another colour depending on the day it was published.
  12. Could this mean a return to selling stuff in the "Loot"?
  13. If the ships have to go the long way round, then fuel bunkers at Cape town, and, a trip to the V&A waterfront. Excellent if you are an engineer!
  14. "This Hornby electric locomotive," is a rebuilt Merchant Navy as far as I can make out. Though it is a model that runs on electricity, so is isn't technically lying, it depicts a steam locomotive not an electric locomotive.
  15. It won't let me agree to your comment, so I agree with you about Transrail and Loadhaul. Loadhaul and Mainline are two of my favourite liveries especially on a class 60.
  16. Thank you for that. I didn't realise that Diamond T did 2 different versions of their trucks. I have to admit that I am gutted that my friend and myself never cabbed it on work experience and I never took photos of it. To elaborate, my friend did his work experience at Blackpool Transport bus depot and I did mine at the tram depot, both at rigby road.
  17. Yeah, all the pictures I have seen of the Blackpool transport Diamond T, it had a single boom crane on the back, whereas the US Army versions had twin boom cranes on the back. I don't know if Blackpool transport had theirs specially converted? There are plenty of photo's online of it recovering trams, as well, as buses. I don't know if that had something to do with it.
  18. I rember seeing those Citroens on TV when I was a child watching horse racing with my grandad.
  19. Could I ask who made the Diamond T kits please? Blackpool transport used one in the post war period well into the '90's for recovering trams and buses. It was still in the Rigby Road depot when I did my school work experience there in 1997.
  20. Happy Christmas everyone.
  21. Makes you wonder if this Rodney suffers like this Rodney?..... https://youtu.be/ylgV8OyTIFg?si=bhWKWnE5wQciaA5C My brother is called Dave, but, doesn't get it when I call him Rodney!
  22. It's looking like the internet photo sites like flicker are your friend here, and searching for images of individual 08's, which may take a while....
  23. Is that one of those bradford exchange models, sorry overpriced naff toys? I believe Bachmann made some stock for them way back when, in 0n30 gauge.
