  1. Getting back to the good stuff, not a lot has been said about the sound. It is absolutely superb! Definitely the best I have especially when engine stationery. Very entertaining.
  2. Intersted in these so can you please advise process. Why not straight into position? Do they 'lift' easily from dry surface? (probably answers 1!). Are they very delicate in their dry state after removal from backing paper? Team game, so any insights appreciated.
  3. So that is where it was! Made a trip over last week to try and see it. Took a ride over the whole line and not a trace. Do you know when it returns to the railway proper? Ta.
  4. Oh, that's great! Thanks. I tried but didn't want to push to hard - I will now be more confident!
  5. Mjne has just arrived and a ,maybe stupid question. The 'plates' above the door are angled, as opposed to straight as in Andy's snap. Are these moveable or meant to be removed? Another superbly detailed model - we are being spoilt! Cheers.
  6. Maybe they have two teams working differently, but mine arrived from Accurascale perfectly packaged with ample exterior protection. Just for balance.
  7. I see more than a little. The finesse of the AS version is in the detail. As an example, look at tender axle boxes and springing.
  8. Probable. After reading the comment I tried my 'run-in' Manor and it would happily run light engine at speed '1' on a NEC Powercab. If running in is important for very low speed running, then surely it would be responsible to do this before 'testing' with such a large following.
  9. If you have a quality airbrush practice is probably the main thing that will lead to confidence. I don't think I would be brave enough to start on a AS Manor though! Good luck with whatever you decide!
  10. No issues on 2nd radius if that helps.Have left the cylinder cut away as delivered.
  11. One is shown as sold, and not good enough to tempt me! There is also general release version, which must be a chancer when they are still readily available.
  12. Just had e-mail from Derails and sounds like the 'black' Manors are due late next week. Perhaps @Accurascale Fran can confirm? No issue for me - can just have a week bonding with Earlestoke!
  13. They aren't. Just a finger nail in the joint will do. The alternative part will give a clue where the holding bit is.
  14. Just for balance, or maybe interest, another Manor arrived today and guess what - no sign of a 'gap'! Either side.
  15. Probably all like it - mine are. See also video in two posts above where it is mentioned.
  16. Why is Anthony Manor presumably unpopular as it is so readily available in both versions?
  17. Derails also has some https://derails.co.uk/Locomotives-and-Multiple-Units/OO-Gauge-Locomotives-and-Multiple-Units/OO-gauge-steam-locos/Steam-Locomotives-By-Manufacturer/Accurascale-OO?page=2
