Fast work. Looking forward to the next one !

I think it was EWS that stripped all the BR logos and arrows off everything .

Can you do the KWA just with glue ?
I'm thinking of getting some war flats and wells myself so interested to see your progress
-
How did they move locos in and out the big shed - own power or using a shunter ?
Nice work grimly by the way !
-
Looks like a good plan, with operational interest aplenty to me
-
Well deserved !

Nice work ! What's the layout going to be abou to run all this stock on ?
-
Hi Pete,
Fair play, looking forward to this one
-
Watching with interest as I'm sure it'll be up to your usual quality !
Can I ask without trawling through the he threads, what's occurring with the other sweeping curves southern one and the Spanish seaside ? Still ongoing or aborted Pete ?

4 of the eight military vehicle shed doors finished - disaster befell the other 4 as all the plastic rod fell off - that was my fault as I allowed the wood backing to get wet and warp.
I've also had issues with the ASDA warehouse as the foam lard warped here as well. I've pretty much straightened it now, it's awaiting new sides and roof. Here it is in ultra low relief mode , behind my new 37 ( desperately needs weathering to match the seacows),
And some new topes behind as well - must be a weekend with all this engineers kit.

I agree.....always liked the rolling wheel logo.
Only saw one once, at princes risborough as part of the evergreen project in 98, that made this Buckinghamshire backwater a hotspot of loco hauled trains for a bit.
Gents, how hard is it to remove the Bachmann sector logos to replace with mainline or transrail ? Would my usual t cut shift it ?
-
That sounds good ...how about 222 ?
-
Wish I'd known that a few years back,
I got rid of my sea moss as I couldn't sort the bends

I've go to say, the mainline and EWS 37s were worth the wait !
-
I hope Dapol make a good job of this - they don't really have any pedigree in OO diesels I don't think and have now been entrusted with several important prototypes
-
Super tractors ! 222 is on my list as well, but then again I could do 100 from that period
-
Very nice

Liking the military train very much!
Is that the new Dutch 37 ? How's the sound ?
-
I agree, 5 ' of plank of reckon is going to be £500 total inc scenery .
But it's my only do at home hobby so I guess I don't resent it

Vacant space at the back is going to be an ASDA distribution facility, just like the one you see in all the photos of discotheque stabling point.
I've used plasticard, scored, and then the gaps highlighted by crushed pastel. This will be over a foam board base. One panel done so far.
The military vehicle depot doors continue to take shape. 40 mins a door to get to this. 8 to do !
Continue to buy stock. This 37 cost me a fortune on eBay as they are rare now ( I remember buying two in 2008 for £60 each ! Those were the days ). But this was still in the tissue when it arrived this week. I had to have a Dutch 37, but I don't have the will to mess it up as per EWS, so this will be in early 96 condition, and re numbered ultimately.
That's it for now, hoping to make some more progress on Monday

Brilliant scenery !

I agree.
It was and is one of the most authentic depot layouts. A trailblazer really.
