  1. David, Quick question regarding the rub-down transfers: what did you use as pressure to apply them? Thanks, Chris
  2. Great update. What have you used as ground cover at the back of the layout - where the figure is standing on pic 3 please?
  3. I wouldn't like to say! (just talking about the model, yes.)
  4. That's the other option! I'd wondered that too. Wouldn't have thought they did but worth asking the question.
  5. Probably a really daft question here but... Does anyone know if it is possible to get replacement 'backs' for the cab? I ordered Katie (seduced by the size of those buffers like many of us, I guess) yet want to fill in the back of the cab. Are they available as 3d prints? I'd toyed with selling it and buying another with a full cab back, but I'd rather do some proper modelling. Thanks for any help.
  6. Cor! I'm not a modern image man myself but they sound incredible.
  7. Lovely... in a grim and cheerless way, if you get what I mean. Great modelling. :-)
  8. If I had a pound for every time I did that...! I've decided that, rather than rush in, when I get an idea I'll jot it down. I'll add it to the pot of ideas and then see if it stays with me enough to want to do it. I reckon that the one I really want to build will be the idea I keep going back to. Might be worth trying?
  9. Like the sounds of this, similar to Geoff, I'd wondered about something similar to experiment in 0 gauge. Good luck!

    Wadenhoe Road

Great to see you back on here Mark, and doubly pleasing that it is with a new layout. I'd go so far as to say that Juniper Hill is my all time favourite model railway and still one I find incredibly inspiring. Wadenhoe already looks good. Looking forward to seeing more soon!
  11. Those wagons are stunning. I've been working on a 7 plank wagon that I was unsure about how to decorate. One of these cracking decal sets should do nicely.
  12. Great little update. In my opinion the scale model scenery gates are a super kit. I was impressed and they are enjoyable to put together too.
  13. Looks excellent. The fascia really brings it all together wonderfully. Great work, and the speed of which you have achieved it puts my own efforts to shame!
  14. Don't know how I've missed this until now. Enjoyed your previous projects and have enjoyed reading through your progress so far. Looking forward to more.
  15. Hi there, Looks a really good start I must say. Slight concern over how close that yard point is to the edge of the board though? Is there a safety net just in case? There's an excellent thread about a layout based on Rannoch on here. Don't know if you've seen it but here is the link: Keep up the good work!
  16. Personally, I'm more of an Iron Ore tippler fan myself, but those wagons are something else. I think the real genius lies in the (ahem) 50 shades of grey that seemingly adorn the different wagons. That isn't to take away from the standard of the weathering. Really captures the look. Excellent modelling... as always. Thanks for sharing.
  17. Morning all, First time poster on this thread. Sadly I've been up since 2.30 feeling rotten so just having a browse. It's been a long week, fighting a virus as best I can whilst working long hours at work due to prepping for two lesson observations I've had this week. Luckily, today I'm not in class so hopefully the early start this morning won't affect me too much later on! Have a great day and enjoy that Friday feeling!
  18. A nice addition Luke. I've got the MSC blue one which I've removed the branding from and then added custom plates. Makes a cracking private owner loco.

  20. Looks good Luke, you've got me thinking about 009 I must say.
  21. Arun Quay is stunning. I also enjoyed Beckindale, thought that was a delightful little layout.
  22. Hi Luke, For the little bit I've used it, absolutely, yes.
