I also don’t object to early announcements, which must help to avoid duplication. As for delays, I’m all for them, within reason. Without delays, I’m sure that finances would compel me to miss out on even more than I do. What I don’t like is to see new projects popping up and racing forward whilst existing ones stall for years. Well I do object to early announcements. Perhaps if they hadn't announced this, what 6 years ago, someone like Heljan would have introduced it by now. Same goes for the Bulleid diesels.

I received my copy of 'The Collector' (i.e. Hornby Club Magazine) this morning, and under their news section about their own products they mention 'new Bulleid coaches reported on separately'. Anyone know about this and where, precisely, they are reported separately? I can't find any other report in the Magazine. Great news if it is true! Regards, Paul.

When we were spotting the real things way back then, we did call them ‘unrebuilts’ even though it might have been incorrect, but when we were 10-12 years old we didn’t care! As far as we are concerned, they are still ‘unrebuilt’. We also called them ‘unmodified’, ‘square bellies’, and ‘flat-tops’. Who cares - it was (and still is) fun! Thanks Hornby, I’ll have a few, please, when they come out. -

I am supposed to be subscribed for their newsletter but have never received one! I also registered interest in the A4, but have heard nothing. I even phoned them a few weeks ago and they confirmed that I was registered with them, but I still haven't received anything. I've tried their website, but that still says the A4 is expected in March. Is their any hope that this A4 will be worth buying, assuming they will actually produce this model and notify me accordingly?

It would be nice to hear more news on the progress of the Merchant Navies, and details of the models being produced other than the brief information released so far.

I bought two 2-bils and need a 2-Hal, but Hornby brought out the version with small yellow warning panels, so it doesn't match the first 2-bil. Also a coupling problem, so I still await an all green 2-Hal without any issues. Hornby not thinking again?

Thanks for that - I'd already found that page. It seems to include lots of 'ordinary' posts. I assumed (obviously wrongly) that there would be a list that I could look through til I found what particular loco fitting that I wanted. Regards, Paul.

I notice that a certain shop in Sheffield have just increased their price by £30, so I won't now be buying one. Seems a dirty trick after waiting all this time, and probably a sign that delivery is imminent.
