    Watched the tall ships leave Blyth today on their way to Gothenburg. I've never seen the beach so busy. The town has been packed for the last few days too.

    Yesterday I put a photo on flikr of a cyclist going away from me on a country lane. It has had 3858 views so far. To me its a very ordinary photo.

    Been to eye casualty at the RVI in Newcastle having been unable to see properly out of one eye. After a small bleed hopefully it will improve with time

      I'm looking forward to the day myself - more modelling time - though for me it'll not be til 2033, unless by then the retirement age has gone up again!

    Woke up with severe toothache in a tooth with a crown on it. At 2pm saw dentist who extracted it. It already feels better.

      We started ours about a month ago. Clearly previous occupants have no idea of how to prepare before decorating; two coats of paint on wallpaper on top of at least 6 coats of paint we've discovered so far.
