    I've just about had it with aerosol cans of Railmatch and Precision paints gumming up, despite my having cleaned them after previous use and stored them carefully in accordance with manufacturers recommendations. They still gum up.

      Long since gave up and bought an airbrush. You can get cheap single acting ones for about 15 quid (as long as you have a compressor) that work great as rattle can substitutes and are dead easy to clean out.
