    I would visit a pox on all those selfish barstewards who use the lavatory in the supermarket and then exit without washing their hands, but I suspect the pox will fall on those who subsequently touch the surfaces contaminated by these gits.

      On a serious note, l read recently that petrol pump handles can be the very contaminated areas. I always use the disposable plastic gloves provided.

      Quite often though people need to enter the lavatory quicker than they need to exit it, hence why it's push to enter and pull to exit....
