      I suppose that with all their stock employed, they wouldn't have any problems with passing loops. though the "record" could be challenged on the grounds that any passengers in the more far-flung sets might find it difficult to disembark at the terminus...  🤪

      I thought this was the traditional commercial policy of the WCML back to Victorian days? 3 trains a day to Scotland, loading to 20 bogies....

      AIUI these were brand new trains being delivered (25 4 car sets) and RhB decided to deliver them all at once (and carry passengers to claim the record) - rather than being 25 sets that were already in traffic.
