    We find the normal type mesh feeders with the two small perch poles either side are great, the pigeons look on with envy as they cannot balance on the perches, they stand underneath waiting for tits to drop bits down to them, tit bits you could say 😁

    Absolutely what I thought when I first saw the front bogie wheels on the steamers, the flanges look like 1950 tin plate wheels, well OK maybe not that bad but they really look deep.

    It was difficult to tell anything from the jiggly almost in frame and focus impromptu shots.

    Some do, but not so modern. With the advent of electronic switches it was easy to enable front fogs only with headlamps, same as putting the rear fog lamp switch in the “cancel when ign off” mode, thus preventing the rear Red Devil lamps left on for three weeks!

    Modern cars cannot use fog lights without going “through” the headlamp position on the light switch, of course if it were an old banger, yes.

    Pretty sure it was SK that said they were using Tillig or at least the moulds, someone said at the GETS he said they just changed the name on the back, but the points look different sleeper configuration.

    It might have been a fairly new car with DRLs some of them are so bright at night it looks like the old dim halogens of the 70’s, hence the reason they have to dim almost completely at night when headlamps are on, they are so bright you can actually see a fair bit at night but of course you’ll have no rear side lights on! The driver probably was so thick they thought their headlamps needed cleaning 😁

    It would be fun to have a chat to NFU Mutual and see if they would insure your Mini. Actually better not others often ask “have you ever had insurance refused?” 😂 Who is the Skoda insured with?

    They are usually more worried about modifications that make the vehicle “look” more desirable to theft, they hate stickers, spoilers, aftermarket tinted windows and big shiney alloy wheels. Oddly I had quite a few diesel cars which had chips or tuning boxes fitted and when notified my insurance company were fine with it, they sometimes asked what the reason was and I always said drivability and economy……it worked.

    Are they fold up etched or hopefully solid channelled construction?

    Just a pump I would guess, as long as the water has a way out its fine but in a compression engine obviously the clue is in the name when both valves are shut on the comp stroke any water within makes a determined effort to get out, always with nasty consequences. Yep, it's a pump, but using pressured water to make it work instead of pushing water. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_engine
