so far i have got to the piont that i need tp paint the frames before i fit the Valve Gear heres a pic

After the last hard kit i am taking is easy with a nice & easy kit from Blacksmith Models The kit is for a GWR 70 foot steam rail motor Dia O/R Today i am making a start on the steam bogie photos to follow

if you Class 25 is anythink like the class 23 i have just built then i would say that the steve Beattie is Wrong & not your Cab

Well today i have finished the Baby Deltic the smoke unit,lighting & DCC chip are all wired in & all so working i have not tested the smoke units heater as i do not have any smokeoil to hand but heres a video & some photos what do you all think??

the varish i uesd was Humbrol satin & not Railmatch

He is a member here F-unit once or twice i have been Very close to giving up on this model today i have been fitting the glazing all i have left glazing wise is to do is one cab & then the headcode boxes

Well the bogie were built up today & the body was given a coat of satin varnish which seams to have gone a bit glossy on friday i will be fitting the glazing once the varnish has had 48 hours to harden off plus painting the buffer beam black

well i have A added incentive once i have finished this model i will get payed for building it

The Arrow trans transfers arived in the post today so i have fitted them the model has been done as D5909 here are some pics well next is rebuilding the bogies now the paint is dry & hard Plus i need to pick up some vanish for the body

well today i made a start putting on the transfers i have got the No's on but not the arrows I have just had to order some more transfers as the arrows on thw No sheet were to small al; been well these will arive this week ? so till then there will be no more updates

Hi Brian the paint is Phoenix Precision P132 BR blue P134 BR singnal Yellow pre85 mixed with there spray thiners over Halfords white primer

That's the gloss paint so i can put the transfers on then satin varnish over the top

well the weather is sunny here at the mo & i have just painted the body blue so once this is dry i will post some pics

it is from Halfords it just a thick yellow primer if this kit was for me i to would have not finished it but its a commission i have to finish it

theres lots of filler primmer which i have sanded under that paint

Well the body is now in primmer & the ends are yellow I will be giving the body a coat of BR blue on sunday if the weather is OK

Well i have now started painting the Baby Deltic the the underframe & bogies are now black & the body is in primer yestoday the transfres arrived And if the weather is ok tomorrow i hope to get the ends painted yellow
