  1. Looking good but the Streamlined B17's fire box were not flered out like the A4's but had straight sides pic here http://freddo.110mb.com/trains/anglian.html I know you are having to comproise as its N gauge

Some are a one peace resin body/chassie plus resin seating & roof this one is but some are white metal sides, ends, buffers & bufferbeam with a resin chassie, seating & roof with the bogie , queen posts roof vent are white metal as well i have one of each still to build & when i start them i will take a photo of them
  5. I have been building a Bill Bedford Met 4 wheel brake 2nd which is now painted & awating transfers But i have also been working on a Radley Models Met 6 comp brake 3rd heres some pics of the finished model
  6. In the book Historic Carriage Drawings Vol 3 page 22 It say some were built new but some were built in 1932 on old ex-GNR 4 wheel coach underframes of simmilar length new builds were dia 120 but the rebuilds were dia 170/176/177

  8. Just pick up 2 1foot to 1foot scale 8'6'' sleepers Boy are they Heavy Now Miss LMS can have her veg plot once she has cut them in two

  12. I know some one who say there good 7mm kit but i would not touch there 4mm kit as the brass is to thin & the slots & tab do not match up as its a 7mm kit made smaller
  13. Its to be a display model in spain so is & will not be powered this was a K's kit from the 80's as its been to the Falkland for a War in 1982 with the Man i have built it for But saying that IKB still sell this loco & this is powered by the tender
  14. Well the Rover is now finished with all the brass work fitted The coal is in the tender & a loco crew on board the loco plus screw couplings heres some pics O & a Happy New Year to you the readers
  15. We're still thinking about how best to do the brackets how about making one then getting somew one like unit models to cast lots in resin
  16. well today i have got the lining on to the Rover & its Name Plates Iron Duke plus the handrails/knobs i still have to fit the whistles & brass bits on the smokebox sides plus the backhead them its finished Heres some pics of the Loco with its lining on

  19. well the chassis is now in GWR Indian Red the body is in GWR green & the tender is in both colures Next is to paint the black & brass bits
  20. well here are the photos of the Rover before it go's in to the paint shop the boiler comes away from the footplate & the tender springs will be attached after the tender & springs are painted i will be fitting the handrails on smoke box & tender after painting watch this space
  21. the wheels in the K's kit have a back to back of 26mm All been well i will have the work finished so i can make get the parts in primmer but i will post a photo update before hand

The Rover is to be a static model so can not say the info with the kit say you would need to make some clerances to get it to run at the mo this would not go round curves saying that its a K's kit which the owner stated painting some parts back in 1982 on the way out to the Falkland War which i have striped before starting work the kit has gone together nice so far i have not used any glue just low melt solder with a 25w iron IKB now make the kit with a Profile milled compensated chassis & do motorising kit for the tender plus P4 style wheels
  23. Today i have been trying to build a K's Broad Gauge Rover 2-2-2-2 got the the basic parts built up & tomorrow i hope to get on with detail I have built the loco so that the boiler is not attached to aid painting heres pic of how it is now

Been finishing off 4 more coaches today 1st a GWR dia 13 TPO built from 247 parts 2nd again a GWR TPo this time a dia 24 3rd is a K's kit of a 6 wheel composite luggage i think this is a GWR coach but i have been asked to finish it in p3 LMS 4th last but not least A L&Y 32' Birdcage brake 3rd again finished in P3 LMS
