  1. I will be after the model has been painted & glazes by lining the in side if the body with a black sheet

Thanks Jol well got the detail parts on never again with this make of kit i have had to take off the tanks with the slope as this was at the Wrong end of the tanks after looking at photos so i have had to fill this in the cut the same thing at the other end the reatach to the underframe just one or two bits left to fit now
  3. it all looks poor well i now have the bogies fitted as well as the tanks i need to raze up the body as its sitting a bit low heres some pics after lunch it fitting pipe work & all been well the roof grills
  4. Well got the 2nd end built up & the brass overlays on then clean up i will still have to give the ends a light filler but i think Primer filler will do it So here are some pics of the 2 ends How do you think it looks now
  5. well having again look at lots of pics i am going for the brass overlay way Well so far today i have fitted the whitemetal roof which i then have fitted a brass overlay to me it looks right just having a coffee break them i am going to start the other cab :shock: lets see how that one go's :yeah: i will post photos of the work later
  6. in my post i was trying to sat its not just this kit but also others in the range as well Looking at photos the to me there should be more above the windows that you get with the cast parts so by fitting a new brass overlay over the cast one may help it to look right but that will be next week as i have done no more work to this or anythink else as my C.F.S/M.E is play up
  7. Its the kit not me have a look here at F-UnitMad's build of the Steve Beattie kit of a Class 22 http://www.rmweb.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=32246 He had problems withe the cab roof with that kit as well
  8. Well today i got some work done to one of the cabs there has been a lot of rework the cab roof is not the same shap as the body so i will have to fill then shap it not a good fit
  9. Got some more work done on the Baby Deltic what a lot of work with nothing much to show but heres a pic theres still a lot of cleaning & twecking before i can fit the white metal parts of the cab

  12. One of todays jobs is building up the radiaters for the 23 & them fitting them if the rest of the kit is anything to go by this will take all day with a lot of banging of my head

  14. Today i am banging my head against the wall trying to put the body overlay on the 7mm class 23 baby deltic
  15. well the 97xx is now painted & ready for the transfers the loco sits a bit high on the chassie which is a Hornby one but the motor will not go any higher as its hitting the boiler > the customer is ok with this as this is how he sent it heres a pic
  16. on my workbench at the mo is a 4mm 97xx this started out as a repaint of the body but the body turned back in to a kit with the paint remover i have rebuilt the body soldering it & replaced the splitpin handrail knobs for turned ones also i have had to build a Recircvlating weir pump as this when missing the loco is to be finished as 9708 heres a pic of the finished body i still have to fit a vac pipe on the back but since this will holed the body on i will do that once the body has been painted 7 fitted to the chassie
  17. heres a line up off the Motive Power i have at the moment for running this layout & Forks Trestle A Bachmann Railtruck i will be building a new back for the item of rolling stock a Backwood Minatures Aerocar a A1 models brass body on a underground Ernie chassie a Branchline Models T Ford railcar a Bachmann Shay a 2-8-2 tank loco running on a Bachmann UK Austerty chassie I used the boiler from the loco but scratch built a body for this loco
  18. A New loco arived today heres a video its 1st run over the line i need to build a new back for this truck

You may remember Me building a On30 Backwoods Miniatures Aerocar but bust the motor when fitting the prop well i have replaced it with one from a small radio controlled helicopter keeping the radio control so that tha Aerocar now runs am battery power heres some video test1 test 2 drivers will have fun with this as it will only go one way ;D
