Irrespective of the above the livery is the IP of Transport Scotland as stated by Arran. Thanks goodness Accurascale were able to use it as there's not lot of call for unpainted Class 92's hauling equally unpainted Mk5a's.
Sadly missed... I think Brian photographed in early August up at the Works. Unusual in itself as the Mk3's were coming to us straight from the LM and were rarely seen as a set there.
Thanks John, I wasn't sure as one of the first few came back to us early on for rectification, which I thought was 9701... Brian Daniels has a photo of the set on return from the tests sitting in St.Rollox yard. https://flic.kr/p/9TNTMU
Maybe 10 years in model railway magazine terms Chris but Loco Hauled Coaching Stock went way back further than that on B.R. - certainly at least 40 years from my memory - and of course used on the railway alongside the considerably older "Carriage" (think Working Diagrams) and the shortened version "Coaching Stock" which covers both LHCS & NPCCS.,
they were nothing but the best crayon's I'll have you know

Which was a reference to stock available for further distribution to the retailers as opposed to the stock held by them for their own sales. It may be odd that they are available however its an inescapable fact and there are other retailers who may well still have some. I certainly know of one.
I'm not sure of the point you are trying to make Phil, they are still available on their website this morning and also my local retailer has all three variants in stock and only arrived this Tuesday. Clearly some retailers will have run out of them though.
To save going back over old ground there's a fair bit of discussion about it back in October 2017..,. http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/107460-oxford-rail-announces-oo-gauge-mk3-coaches/?view=findpost&p=2883506
'Edinburgh - Glasgow' - Don't forget technically 9706 had barely a few months remaining before it was destroyed at Polmont though the Red Labels had been in use at least since the previous year.
Well spotted Longdavey.... Makes me wonder how much input Lyndon Davies And the Oxford Rail connection has on these releases. Could we also see re-tooled Mk3a's... c/w the correct liveries?
