    Just finished my build of the Gladiator B16/1 and I am very satisfied with the result - shame it's not for me.

      As long as it was enjoyable, I have always liked Slaters kits.

      I have 19 various items of rolling stock in a state of nearly finished. The weather isn't helping, most require painting or weathering.

    In these days of food scares it has been very satisfying to bone out and trim a couple of legs of lamb for the freezer. Although it's a good few years since I was last employed as a butcher my skills haven't deserted me.

      I sympathise with you both. My dad had to work for some years before qualifying for a whole Christmas Day off and my own experience is sort of similar. I hope you both have a restful time. Enjoy!
