      Similar thing happened to me on scalescene website turned out to be malware on my pc

  3. there is a wooden bodied VVV van in Peterborough west yard, along with three ferry vans, one in each livery carried, dutch, bauxite and railfreight. a bream wagon and a oca wagon full of pea shingle. a southern region brake van at manea that's clocking up 30 years in the siding and the last time I wengt through diss on the train there some wagons stored in a disconnected yard there.

  5. Hornby have had my 31 for four weeks. no contact or anything. and id read their customer service was good!!

  7. Ive spoken to Hornby and they want it back. Including the undamaged bodyshell, which has a custom weathering on it! Not happy will be talking to mr kohler at the peterborough show if hes there.
  8. my 31110 has literally fallen to bits tonight. i will be ringing Hornby first thing. im gutted. my mrs bought me that loco when we got engaged. and can you actually get a Hornby 31 off thier website for £100??
  9. my Hornby 31110 (Dutch) has developed a slightly different problem. the screw lug plastic has corroded away inside the bodyshell and now the screws fall out! chassis seems fine though!

  15. lima did release this 09 in a train set, and side rods were never fitted. I had the set years ago. always looked strange. the set had a marks and spencer open wagon I seem to remember.

      see, it does work...... Well done to SWMBO Griffin, Bet you cried a tear of joy, I concur with the above but would add, that seperate your modeling budget pronto, nappies, aston martin buggies will not do it any good whatsoever.

  23. bought a Hornby king, took body off to hard wire a chip and it was dcc ready even though the box didnt state it! result

      I had the same thing with the 8F and Black 5s - quite a nice surprise to see an 8 pin plug in there even though the models are +10 years old and not advertised as DCC ready.

      maybe not so much now, it shorts the layout on every set of bleeding points >8-(

      Basically, except it would've had a V front cab and other details would be different.
