  7. Those headcodes will need to be replaced. Geoff Endacott
  8. The problem with Nottingham and Derby is that they are in the wrong place. If they were moved much further south, travellers could get to London much more quickly without the need to build HS2. Geoff Endacott
  9. The seller would be well advised to remove the water-based paint himself before listing it again. Geoff Endacott
  10. One went at auction recently for £560. Geoff Endacott

As no Deltics were scrapped in green livery, is this what they expect to happen to one of the preserved ones? Geoff Endacott
  12. At least all buffers and couplings are present and the running numbers are intact: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OO-GAUGE-TRIANG-WEATHERED-CLASS-31-DIESEL-NON-RUNNER-/370736469101?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item56519d946d Geoff Endacott

  17. Whatever the artistic merits may be, this is criminal damage. The perpetrators are therefore criminals. Geoff Endacott
  18. For that sort of money I would expect the correct identity for that body style. D98 is a split-box Peak - this supposed model of it isn't. Geoff Endacott
  19. It's that man again: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RJH-KIT-BUILT-O-GAUGE-BR-PEAK-CLASS-45-DIESEL-LOCO-ROYAL-ENGINEER-D98-mu-/330751234441?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item4d024f5189 . Geoff Endacott
  20. I have seen a picture of that being done but can't remember where I saw the photo. It was in one of the magazines, maybe 20-30 years ago. Geoff Endacott
  21. I remember it well - I was a regular customer from 1977 to 1980. I still have a lot of their King's Cross nameplates which I never used! Geoff Endacott
